Possessed by Demons

Alex and Maria had been dating for six months. They were adorably in love. Alex was a fervent believer in the supernatural, frequently exploring and testing paranormal theories. But Maria didn't share his interests. She often mocked his beliefs, calling them nonsense.

One gloomy evening while they were watching TV, Maria began speaking in tongues. At first, Alex assumed it was merely gibberish but, as time progressed, he realized that it wasn't random words- there was a message within her dialect.

"Who are you?" Alex asked, concerned.

"Baal," she revealed in an unfamiliar gruffly tone.

"Who's Baal?" he queried almost rhetorically."What have you done to my girlfriend?"

Maria's possessed body started trembling violently as she levitated off the couch. Her eyes turned black as coal.

"You're not wanted here", Baal hissed through her throat.

The room fell silent again as the couple stared at each other post that incident.The shock of what had just happened coursed throughout their bodies.Maria had no memory of what had happened,Alex was left shattered- what would he do?

He contacted various exorcists and spiritualists to perform a cleansing ritual on Maria eventually,taking matters into his hands when none of it worked out.He was a believer and he would fight to get his lover back

As days progressed,Maria showed small hints of improvement which spurred him on,his determination seemingly stronger than ever.The next few days,fighting demons both literal and metaphorical seemed like a nightmare but he persevered.Finally,Maria woke up one day free of whatever forces possessed her.Their relationship though changed forever but they would never forget the horror they faced together.

Alex sighed with relief upon seeing Maria free from evil.”I am just glad that we made it through” Alex said gratefully.She basked in the warmth and relief of being free and whispered back,”Without you, I’d never have been able to make this through but this has certainly scarred me for life”.

Alex knew that the horror they faced together would bind them together forever.
