Damaged

Johnny's POV

        I couldn’t believe this girl. She looked like she was in an awful state. Watching painfully as they half carried her towards the stairs. A drop of sweat formed falling down my left cheek. It was heartbreaking to watch this happen. What happened to her? The patch on her forehead made me nervous. I didn’t think she would be in such bad shape.

        I removed myself from the wall, running outside and grabbing her luggage from the trunk. It was kind of heavy, but with my strength I carried it in with ease. 

      I ran up the stairs, trying to catch up with the group. Doesn’t take too much effort though. The group was slow especially since Jessica can’t really walk without help. I'm honestly curious about why she is this way, but I figured Daniel and David would tell us later.

     My face usually never shows what I'm feeling and it was really hard getting close to anyone because of it. But I warmed up to these guys easily. 

     It was strange too, because David and Daniel warmed up to me faster, as if saying that it is going to be okay. They understood my feelings from the very beginning. I do not know how they were able to tell what my true feelings were, but they smiled and welcomed me here.

      My parents were one of the elite hunters and most of the time I didn’t see them. I was alone growing up and it caused me a lot of problems because I never knew how to match my facial expressions to my emotions. 

      But I managed to find my way to them. And here we are. I still can’t manage to make the right face, but these two have always been able to read my heart. I guess it brought me to live with them and help them with their work. 

      Mostly they try to train the future generation. Make them strong, so they are able to create a better future for humankind. Mostly these children lost their parents to being killed by evil hunters, and demons. When that happens the children of those hunters are sent to live with other families, but Daniel and David created this home so that the children aren’t put in another families care. 

       It’s a good warm here. If they were sent to another family it would mean that they may be treated worse than family. That’s why these brothers created this home. They had to fight with the council for a couple years. The council didn’t give in until a child that was taken into one of those families had perished from total neglect. 

      They finally agreed to everything Daniel and David strode for. There are no rules we really have to adhere to the council, but they do have to send in reports. And for the kids to get experiences as hunters they are required to help in any demonic activities. 

      They’ve been running this place for about thirty years. No complaints about the kids that have come and gone from this place, but when it came to Daniel and David as men have captured many of the young girls hearts here. Girls have confessed to both of them, but unfortunately run away crying as they left.    

       You could say that these two are very good looking to the girls. These girls though don’t realize they may be handsome, but they have certain quirks that could make any girl run away. At an alarming speed I might add.    

        These two are twin brothers yet they are the total opposites. And yet when they come together it’s as if they have the same personality. It piqued my interest about those two. 

       Now that she has joined us here it might get a little hectic here. These two met Delilah first when she was on the run. They met Jessica first. Even though she was just a baby they got to hold her first.     

     I’m jealous yes, but even though I’m actually seeing Jessica in person I’m realizing that one person shouldn’t do that to you. 

     Charlie grabbed one of the bags that belonged to Jessica. Most of her stuff came a couple days ago and we had cleaned and repainted her room and personal bathroom.  I'm hoping she likes her room.
