Carter's POV..
Being back in the office was a relief for me. I couldn't stand being bed written with my mom constantly bagging me on how careless I am. And that having a family would make me more responsible. Like come on I have them as a family and am the most responsible person there's my fault is that I only got a friend who never, not once fails to put me in trouble and now Jane thinks I'm irresponsible like what the hell that's not even damn close to truth.
Well maybe am overreacting on the irresponsible part but the reason for that would be because she's using it to lure me into marriage. I tried using the excuse of them being my family and hence they should be enough to keep me responsible but my mom wouldn't have any of that. She says a wife is the only thing that can tame me.
