Olivia was betrayed by the people she trusted the most; her world was shattered. Her husband divorced her because he believed she was infertile. Her best friend claims she is pregnant with her husband’s baby. Olivia is forced to start a new life, but revenge might be the perfect cure. Ethan, the billionaire, offers her a job as a maid, and he helps her to take down Grayson, her ex-husband. As time goes Olivia and Ethan develop feelings for each other, leading to Olivia being pregnant with Ethan’s baby. Olivia discovers that if she were pregnant, she wouldn’t be infertile. Grayson was the one who had a problem all this time; Emily was not pregnant with Grayson’s baby.

Chapter 1
Olivia froze when she saw Grayson standing at her doorstep with the divorce papers. He approached her and handed her the papers. Olivia put her hand in her mouth, her eyes shut for a moment. “What the hell is the meaning of this, Grayson?” She inquired as she stepped closer. Olivia felt anger boiling over her. Tears started forming in her eyes, and self-doubt crept in. “I want them signed after a week,” He spat the words out, avoiding her gaze. Grayson and Emily were married out of the community of property. “My love, please, I beg you. Don’t leave me, I have no one,” she said as she dropped to her knees, tears streaming down her face. “Give me another chance, let’s try again.” She pleaded. Grayson turned his back on her without saying a word. He shut the door behind him. Olivia reached for her phone and called her friend. “Hey, Emily. Are you busy?” She said, sobbing. Emily could hear Olivia sobbing on the other side of the phone. “What’s wrong, darling?” She inquired, as she rolled her eyes, and a smile appeared on her face. “My marriage is falling apart. Grayson wants me to sign the divorce papers,” her voice cracked as she spoke. For a moment, pain, humiliation, betrayal, and hatred, all these feelings combined, can’t even describe how Olivia was feeling at the moment. “Olivia, I know how you feel, but you can’t force Grayson to love you. You need to move on with your life. I will come see you later,” she said and dropped the call. Olivia has been crying for hours; her eyes are now swollen. “Why is this happening to me?” She asked herself as she walked out of the mansion. She didn't know how she got to the graveyard. “God, you took my parents away from me. Grayson was my only hope for survival, and now you want to take him too,” she cried in anguish as she fell to the ground in front of her parents'graves. Her parents died in a car accident five years ago. She closed her eyes as she slowly felt her heart break into pieces. When she reached home, she found Florence, Emily, and Grayson waiting for her in the living room. “Where have you been? I have called you multiple times?” Grayson inquired as he stood from his seat and walked to Olivia. “Why are you doing this? Are you going to throw away our 10-year relationship just like that?” She took a step forward, voice trembling. “Just accept it. It’s over between you and my son. You fail him as your husband,” his mother said with a calm voice. She straightened her sleeve. At this moment, Emily didn’t defend her best friend as she should. She was sitting on the sofa that was opposite Grayson. The Johnsons were one of the powerful families in the Rivel city. Grayson owns the Terrier Hotels company, left to him by his late father. “You need to move out today. I don't want to see your face,” Grayson shouted and slapped her across her face. Olivia went to her room to pack her clothes and other belongings. After packing, she felt tired from walking to the graveyard. Olivia decided to take a short nap. “Olivia? Olivia? Are you okay?” She suddenly heard a voice around her. She opened her eyes as she looked at Emily standing at her doorstep. “Olivia, you are supposed to be packing. Why are you sleeping?” Emily inquired. She approached Olivia’s bed and sat next to her.“I feel exhausted. I am taking a short nap. I will leave later.” Tears streamed down her face. Olivia and Emily have been best friends since middle school. Olivia used to defend Emily when she got bullied. “I feel sorry for you, Olivia. You don’t deserve this,” Emily patted her back. “I don’t want to leave Emily, but I don’t have a choice. I have no idea when he lost feelings for me. He once promised me that he would never let go of me, but it was all a lie. She muttered as she buried her face in her hands, tears streaming down her face. Emily was facing the side of the window. Her back was facing Olivia. “I should excuse myself. You should sleep,” Emily whispered. She stood from Olivia’s bed and walked out. Olivia closed her eyes as Emily walked out of her room. She fell asleep as darkness took over her. ***** “Olivia. Olivia.” A female voice ran in the air. She turned to see who was calling. She walked in the woods and stopped in front of an abandoned house. “Olivia.” She turned again and noticed her parents'backs. “Mom, Dad.” She barely whispered, her eyes widened. “It’s been a while since you visited home.” Emilia, her mother said, still facing the other way. “Be careful, my daughter, someone close to you has backstabbed you.” Ashton, her father said. Olivia tried to approach them, but they disappeared into thin air.
