I woke up feeling so incredibly content. As I opened my eyes, I was even a little confused. It had been a long time since I’d slept so deeply that I didn’t immediately know where I was. Then I felt Amber shift beside me. I turned my head and saw her curled up at my side, a smile on her lips as she slept. She looked worn out too but happy. I pulled her closer, kissed the top of her head, and breathed in her mixed scent, now tinged with a hint of me. Perfect. She smelled f*cking perfect.
Slowly, Amber began to wake, almost like she sensed I was thinking about her. She looked around, momentarily perplexed, before her eyes landed on me. Her smile grew, and she tried scooting even closer. A soft, contented sigh escaped her as she let her eyes fall closed again. I leaned in and kissed
