Chapter Thirty one.

1013 Words
Izzy’s POV Let’s go to the mall? I laugh because I know my brothers hate shopping, but they will go on rare occasions. I guess this is one of them. Taylor had the cars brought around to the front, and we all piled in. It took us about thirty minutes to get there. Everyone was busy talking and laughing. All I could do was smile. Things have changed for the better. We all got out with the men going one way and the girls going another. Taylor was talking to his mom before he walked away with my brothers. Come Izzy, we have shopping to do. I just need something for a meeting, I tell her. You’re going to need more than that. You are going to be the Luna, and you need to dress for it. I never thought about that. I must have tried on fifty different outfits. That was only from two stores!!! Ava said that still wasn’t enough. Who is she trying to dress a queen? I’m tired, Ava. Don’t you think we have enough for now? We can always come back another time, I sigh. Ava laughs, we are just getting started!!! You got to be freakin kidding me right now!! I say under my breath. Ava, I’m really tired and hungry. Please!! One more store, please just one more! Ava says. I promise just one more store, smiles Ava. Why? She laughs. It’s undergarments, you and your mom both need them. Alright, alright, you win. One more store, and that’s it!! I made the biggest mistake going to an undergarment store with Ava and my grandmother. I think next time just her and my grandma can come by themselves. Shaking my head at the two of them. They are shameless, neither knows what boundaries are, for the life of me, I don’t understand either of them. Plus, they have way more energy than I do. And they are way older, shaking my head at their antics. Omg why, Shay laughs. Ava, you can’t be serious. My grandma is just as bad. I wonder if they are this bad when it comes to their mates, eww scratch that, shaking my head, I don’t want to know. Shay is rolling on the floor laughing her ass off. SHUT IT SHAY!! Making her laugh even harder. Can I hide? I really can’t get over the two of them. The things they picked out for me, they have no shame. And Shay, she’s as bad as them. Where does she even come up with some of this stuff? Who gave lessons to who? You would think these three were partners in this lifetime or the last, as I cover my bright red face, too embarrassed to look at what my grandmother is showing me. Grandma, these are just strings I say exasperatedly, holding it up and laughing. How would one even wear something like this? Second thought, I don’t want to know as I cover my face. My grandma bursts out laughing. My poor innocent Izzy, she grins. That doesn’t stop her from the next crazy thing she gives me to try on. I mean, the stuff that she was giving me to try on, you would think there would be a law against it. I can’t believe Ava or my grandma. You would think that Ava forgot it’s her son that’s my mate. I did get some cute things: a black lace bra and pantie set, a red one too. A few pajamas. Ones that were actually appropriate. Honestly, I am never coming here again with those two, shaking my head. Yes, you will say, Shay. I just roll my eyes at her, but she is probably right. I even tried running away from them. If Ava didn’t catch me, my grandma did. I’m exhausted, and it’s only noon. Those two are relentless. I swear these two women forgot who they were shopping for. I’m her granddaughter, for crying out loud. And don’t get me started on Ava. She’s worse than my grandma. A few items they tried to get me to try on, I just straight turned around and walked away. I had to laugh when my grandma showed something to my mom. Her face turned bright red, and she ran out of the store. I literally had to hide in the dressing rooms, till Ava searched all the rooms for me! While Shay just laughed. I really don’t know where they get all their energy. Or who they think they’re buying for. My grandfather, Taylor, and Lucas should take away their shopping privileges, I sigh. When we finally left the store, I was relieved. I have to give my grandma and Ava props, when it came to my mom. I was watching my mom shop, everything she picked out, she kept putting it back, saying it’s too much. Ava and my grandma would pick up the items that she put back and purchase them anyway. My mom never knew because they had them sent straight to the cabin. I am happy to know that my grandma and Ava were looking out for my mom. I still haven’t talked to her. But I am glad she’s getting things because she didn’t have much. Pete never bought my mom things. I really want to forgive her. But I’m still unsure. Shay says it will come in time, but I’m not so sure about that. I’m not sure if time heals everything, something you don’t just get over. I wish it was that easy, but unfortunately, I know it’s not. So for now, till I truly figure out how I feel, I think it’s best we keep our distance. But I am happy for her. She needed this more than I did. Now I just want to find Taylor and get away from those two crazy ladies that I call grandma and Ava! Shay snorts, you know you loved it. I roll my eyes, Shay, there are some things that grandparents shouldn’t do, and this is one of them! I smirk.
