Chapter 7: Fated to Meet You

I woke up early because Axel was going to pick me up today. I was so excited because this was my first time that someone had treated me special. And exactly 7:30 in the morning, Axel arrived.
When he opened his car and there he was, the handsome and energetic man. He is one of a kind that many girls would love and fantasize about.
"Hello, Ryle, Good morning!" he greeted me with a beautiful smile that melted my heart for a moment. I think I had feelings for him maybe because he saved me and he was my first kiss.
“Good morning too, Axe! Thanks for fetching me up," I answered him with a happy smile. If only, I met him first, I would be the happiest creature in this world. He is the perfect package that all girls want.
“No problem, my dear! Come here!” And he opened the door of his car for me.
"Wow, thank you," I said and got into his expensive car.
When we arrived at school, he parked his car in the VIP area near Ryker’s car. Then, we went out, and many students were shocked and amazed at his unique handsomeness.
"Wow, who's that new transferee?" one student asked her peer.
"I don't know, but we can call him our 2nd prince next to Prince Ryker, right?" the other student replied and now I know, they are Ryker's fans.
“And who’s that girl next to him? Is she the Personal Assistant of our Prince Ryker?” the other student asked and snob me.
"Sorry girls but she's my girlfriend," Axel replied and put his arm around me.
"Really?" Ryker said and dragged my hand away.
"Hey! Mr. Johansen, what is wrong?“ I asked him angrily.
"Let's go!" he said while holding my hand. And I saw Axel, smiling and grinning.
"Bye, Ryle!" he shouted and waved at me. Then, I do the same with my left hand. Because Ryker didn’t let go of my right hand.
He took me to the school garden, the place where I cried for the first time when he said I should forget him.
“Ryke! What's wrong? Why are you acting like that?“ I asked him confusingly.
"Because I don't give anyone permission to steal my territory!" he said violently.
"Really? Sorry, I'm not your territory," I snob at him. But he hugged me tightly.
“Ryke! Please, let me go!” I begged him.
"Why? Because you can't stop your heartbeat every time I hug you?" He asked slowly in my ear. So my heartbeat quickened. He seduced me.
"No! Because I don't want to betray my boyfriend," I lied to him.
“Ha-Ha! Really? Do you love Axel? What if I told you that he had a girlfriend, who happened to be my friend? Do you still love him?" he said while laughing.
"Do you know him?" I asked him sadly.
"Yes! I know him very well," He replied coldly.
"All right! Thanks for the information," I replied to him and then left. It hurts to hear the truth even though we are not that close, but it still hurts me because I hope so much that we will be together in the future.
"Devz, I love you!" Ryker shouted behind me so I stopped walking and looked at him. My heart racing, I don’t know what feeling I should be feeling right now but mixed emotions.
“Are you okay?” I asked him seriously. I was confused.
“Yeah! I’m okay!” he replied and kissed my forehead.
"Hey! Do you truly love me?“ I asked him a second time.
"Yes! But I'm just kidding!" Then he laughed so I punched him in the chest.
“I hate you, Ryker!” I shouted at him. Then, he ran away.
I am so mad at him. I promised myself that I would never love him again. He tricked me and kissed my forehead. I forgot he's a playboy! Funny, but I have to do something.
I entered our class with a happy face and then glanced at him. I saw him smiling so I glared at him. A few minutes later, our professor arrived.
"Good morning class. Finally, our new transferee has arrived, please welcome Mr. Baron Axel Grey," Our professor introduced Axel to our class. I can't believe, we're in the same class.
“Hi, guys! I am Baron Axel Grey but you can call me Axe for short. And I am glad that I know someone here in our class. Thank you,” He said with a perfect smile.
“It’s good to know, Axe. Is it a girl or a boy?” our professor asked him.
"She's a girl. Named Rylie Devyn. Can I sit next to her ma'am?" He asked permission from our professor.
“No problem, Mr. Grey,” Our professor answered with a smile.
As Axel walks over to the vacant seat next to me. Ryker stared at me.
“Hi! Ryle!” he greeted me again.
"Hello, I never thought you would be my classmate," I asked him surprisingly.
“Do you believe in destiny?” Axel asked me.
“Yes, I do,” I answered and smiled at him.
“Then, we are destined to meet,” He said with full of emotions.
"Yes! I agree with you!" I gladly answered him. But Ryker interrupted our moments.
"DESTINY is only for dramatic people! Who will believe in forever," he said before he left!
“Attention seeker!” I said in a low voice but Axel just smiled. He never commented. And I can find him, easy to get along with.
"Axe, do you know, Ryker?" I asked him seriously.
"Why did you ask?" he replied then stared at me.
"I'm just asking, if you don't answer then it's fine with me," I replied and opened my book.
"Ha-ha, are you mad at me my princess?" he asked me and pinched my cheek.
"Nope! I'm not," I briefly answered him.
"Okay! I'll tell you the truth but on one condition," he said while smiling.
"Really? And what's your condition?" I excitedly asked him.
"You're the one I'll be with here, at school, we'll have lunch together and I'll pick you up and take you home," he said and then smirked at me.
"Wow, did you apply for a bodyguard? Ha-ha," I told him and laughed.
"Nope, I'll apply myself to be your partner/boyfriend. If it's okay with you," he said seriously.
"Really? Sorry, but I don't want to be a mistress! He-he" I replied to him and laughed.
"I'm single and ready to mingle. Ha-ha," he replied. That's why I'm blushing. Is Ryker lying to me?
"Okay! Then, answer my question!" I commanded him.
"All right! I know Ryker very well because we're cousins," And my whole system stopped. I can't believe this.
"Ahhh ... No wonder you have the same eyes," I replied.
"Since you're my trusted partner now, I'll tell you one secret of Ryker," then he smiled at me.
I hate him when he smiles because there is space in my heart that liked him. And I don’t want to fall for him.
"Really? Tell me," I excitedly asked him.
"Later, when we go home," he replied shortly.
So I couldn’t be bothered, I was excited to find out Ryker’s secret.
Then, our class begins.
