Chapter 21. Jasper’s POV. I opened my eyes to bright light. I could hear the murmurs of people around and I c****d my head to the side to relieve myself of the pain in my neck. When my vision cleared, I could make out the finer details of my surroundings. I was standing in a chapel —at the altar in fact—, and standing right across me was an old priest with an equally wiry old smile. “It’s okay to feel nervous, child,” he said. I looked at him a little incredulously. Instantly, the air in the chapel was filled with the sounds of an old organ playing a very melodious tune. I turned around to find Nina dressed in a white gown. I could tell it was her even though she had a veil over her face. I looked at my own attire for the first time. How was any of this possible?
