Tessa’s POV.
I kept my footsteps light against the floor, careful not to make any sound. I’d initially wanted to make a scene immediately upon entering but I had better ideas. In a mix of devious mischief and bitterness, I walked into the bedroom. Just as I had expected, I found Jake straddling a lady. They were so deep in the act that they failed to notice my presence in the room. I watched Jake’s toned back muscles contract and release with each stroke of movement and I felt a sick sense of arousal which was immediately replaced by blinding jealousy. Why wasn’t I the one lying under the weight of his body?
