I had linked Skol and told him of my plan to challenge Eli in two days. That would give him time to get close to Daro. Him and his rogues would be in the city within an hour of me challenging him. It also gave us time to prepare for their arrival. In the meantime, Orsa and Kai were fighting ferociously.
Sakina and I were in the process of tearing off each other’s clothes when we heard a loud slam.
“F*cking hell, if that sound made it through your doors, I’ll be surprised if it hasn’t been slammed off its hinges,” she muttered.
I groaned.
“I know that look. You’re going, aren’t you?”
“We can’t just leave them to it, yara. Especially with how much Orsa has helped me through… all of this s**t for the past year.”
