She worked two skillets on the stovetop as the clock neared 7:30 a.m. She turned each slice of bacon over with care and stirred the eggs while she occasionally mixed in salt and pepper for added flavor. She'd already enjoyed two glasses of orange juice without any signs of pulp, and she had two more glasses poured and set on the table for herself and her love.
