Alex’s POV

I was in a meeting when all of a sudden my phone began to buzz like crazy, I ignored it at first by putting it on silent but I could still hear the vibration of the phone. I peeked at the screen to see what the ruckus was about, it was a series of texts from Maddie. I ignored it and continued with my meeting. Less than ten minutes later the door of my office swung open, and all heads including mine turned to the door. Maddie was trying to get in and my secretary was struggling to keep her out

“Can we end the meeting here?” I told the people I was with

“I have something to attend to” I added and they concurred and left my office exchanging confused glances at each other

“Let me go you dirty b***h” Maddie spat at my secretary, wringing herself from her grip

“Leave us,” I told my Secretary, she looked at me like wasn't sure she should

“You heard him, get out,” Maddie said to her before she finally left

“What are-” I started to say but before I even finished my sentence I felt a sharp sting on my left cheek from Maddie's slap, I couldn't even understand the reason for that before she started hitting me repeatedly with her purse

“How dare you?” she asked repeatedly with every swing of her purse

“Can you use your word?” I said grabbing both her hands to stop her

“What's going on talk to me,” I told her

“You keep lying to me what do you take me for?” she asked me

“Why would I lie to you? What did I lie about?” I asked her

“You said you would divorce Myla,” she said

“Yes I did and I going to,” I said

“Then why did you get her a f*****g ring then” she said trying to hit me again but my hand was holding hers firmly, she was angry at me you could hear it in her voice as she spoke to me

“Oh that,” I said in realization

“Oh, that? That is all you have to say?” she asked

“It is just a ring Maddie nothing serious,” I said letting go of her hand and sitting on the couch in my office, she let out a loud scoff looking at me with surprise written on her face

“Who changes the ring of someone they want to divorce?” she asked

“It was Grandfather who told me to do so,” I told her

“Divorce her, you don't need her anymore you have gotten the company it is yours now so do the needful” she added

“I just want to take it slow baby, anything can happen,” I told her

“Like what? What could happen?” she asked

“Is it until she gets pregnant and you are tied down forever?” she asked and I let out a loud hysterical laugh

“How could she get pregnant I would never sleep with her, you are the only one I have eyes for,” I said to her grabbing her by her waist and drawing her close to me but she rolled her eyes with her hands folded on her chest having nothing to say to me

“Yeah right” she scoffed

“You know how much I love you, you are the only one meant for me and when the time is right I will put a ring right here,” I said placing a kiss on her finger

“I'm tired of hearing all this, you have been saying the same thing for three years now get rid of her now!” she shouted

“I’m done being your f*****g mistress” she added

“I would just give me time, a little more time” I said trying to convince her

“No more time if you don't do it now I will go to the press and everyone including Myla will find out the hard way” she spat out bitterly

I couldn't even take her threat likely because I know what Maddie is capable of doing she doesn't care how messy it could get. I needed to take things one at a time. The only reason I got married to Myla was to get Grandfather's favor and acquire the shares Grandfather gave to her. Combining her shares and mine made me the biggest shareholder and CEO of the company.

“C'mon you can't do that to me,” I told her dragging her down to sit on my laps

“Then do it so I won't have to,” she said

“I will,” I said nibbling on her ear, I could feel her body shudder at my touch

“Let me go I'm angry with you” she pouted trying to struggle

“Are you sure you want that? Your body says otherwise” I said as I pinched her hard n*****s that were poking her silk shirt making her moan seductively in my ear

“Alex stop” she breathed out weakly as I kissed and used my tongue to lick her neck

“You drive me f*****g crazy” I growled hungrily in her ear

“I want you I want all of you” I added before crashing my lips into hers our tongues dancing in sync, I couldn't get enough of her I get f*****g horny anytime I see her the more I have her the more I want her

“Take me here right here,” she said using her hand to rub my crotch making me grow hard

“Someone can barge in,” I told her

“They can enjoy the show, I don't care,” she said proceeding to unbuckle my belt

“No, no, no wait,” I said stopping her, I couldn't risk someone walking in and seeing us together

“Let me close the door first,” I told her

“How long would you keep on hiding me” she stood up angrily

“You should understand me,” I told her

“So you would hide me and my baby forever?” she asked

“Not forever just till the divorce is-” I started to say but stopped immediately

“What did you say?” I asked and she just looked at me not saying a word

“Did you say baby?” I asked

“Maddison are you pregnant?!!!!” I asked with my eyes widened in shock

“I wanted to keep it a surprise but since it is out yes I am f*****g pregnant Alex,” she said plainly

“Oh my God yes!!!!” I screamed happily

“I would call my lawyers now to get the divorce papers ready” I added kissing her all over her face, having a baby with the woman I love, what more signs am I waiting for?
