Only after that girl left did Juliette fix her eyes on the new items sitting on Camilla's desk, a knowing smile tugging at her lips.
"Oh~ No wonder you were in such a hurry to get back to the dorm."
Late that night, Cross and Juliette were still playing their team‑battle game, voices drifting over.
Suddenly, Juliette spoke up, her tone light yet loaded, "Cross, you spend all your time looking after me like this… aren't you afraid Camilla will find someone else while you're busy?"
Instantly, the voices over the headset fell dead silent. Cross, however, did not seem to catch the hidden meaning at all.
"Camilla wouldn't. She knows what's reasonable."
Lying on her bed, Camilla closed her eyes. Beneath her pillow, her phone vibrated softly. It was a message from Hayden.
