Heri's Point of View.

I sit by the fireplace reading a writing some document while drinking a cup of hot coffee with my roud spectacles on which has chains. It's somewhat like monocle but with both side.

I kind of need glasses from time to time, mainly when Iam always working with books.

Iam in the library right now and is currently going through all the contracts needed to be review to be submitted in the palace.

While I was doing that Vann enter and place the container in the table he had with him making a loud thud noise as he kept it with a little force.

I flinch back a little and quickly let down my pens and paper and look up at him, wondering what is going on.

He has been so sensitive lately and I don't want to play with that.

Heri: Anything I can help you with Vann.

Vann(sullen) : Eat at home, if not bring your own food here. I have no time neither energy to act as your delivery man.

He said it silently yet menacingly and then turn to walk away while I quickly stop him.

Heri: Wait wait, Vann. First thank you for the food and nextly you don't have to bring me any food if you are busy.

Before I can say more, he cut me off.

Vann: The tell mom to stop nagging me to bring you food.

I knew mom was doing so because she wanted him to do anything or to be anywhere besides the hospital and our home. He has been doing nothing but just overworking himself to be less stressed.

Heri: You cannot be like this Vann.

He just look at me blankly as I said that while I can tell by his stance that he is ready to go away any seconds now.

Heri: I know that Tilbe is hurting this days and I know how unwell she is. But you cannot be all gloom and unhappy along with her like this. At such time, we need to be her strength and should help her go through what she is going through right.

He still look at me blankly.

While I sigh at his expression, I know he has been through this talk a lot by now. I mean pretty much evryone he meet said this.

Vann: I know.

And he was about to walk out again, while I quickly stop him again, this time even catching his hand.

Heri: Stop! Stop!

He turn back a bit irritated by now.

Vann: Now what?

I force him to sit down whirl forcing him down while he glare at me at my action.

Heri: You have been so grumpy lately, even your family is scared to be with you.

He just sigh as I said that.

Vann: And yet all of you just keep on disturbing me.

This time I sigh.

Heri: You fool that is because all of us are worried for your well being.

Vann: Iam okay, so you don't need to worry then.

He said so, not even trying to hide the fact that he is so blatantly lying. I shake my head in disbeleive at that but choose to say nothing about it.

Heri: Is Tilbe still sick?

He nod in a yes but say nothing else, making me sigh in desperateness.

I mean sure, he does not speak that much naturally but this time, he will rather be mute if he can choose to be.

His unwillingness to speak make it seems like he have to pay for every letter he speak of.

Heri: Well tell me more!!

Vann: She has been running on high fever for three days now with no sign of recovery.

I sigh as he said that. This is bad, I knew Tilbe was sick but I didn't know it was so serious.

There was no way of news coming out if Vann don't say anything and he have been in the hospital for most of the time, never coming home.

While the palace is in a lockdown, still in mourning period. It is completely close with no work done. So really no news can be know.

Heri: How come she is still sick when you are with her?

I mean if he have healed her, it is highly unlikely that she will be sick again right?

Vann: I can't!

I looked at him shocked, say what now?

Heri: Iam sorry, but what?

Vann: I don't know why, but even if I heal her, nothing last. I will heal her and then within few hours she will be sick again.

Like she is taking a medicine and it's power running out within a specific period of time.

I look at him in disbelived, such a major thing happen and he was just going to say nothing about it and went away, just like that?

Heri: Well have you find out why? I mean, people you heal, they don't relapse again like she is doing.

What is happening? Vann ability is quite powerful and is probably the most sought after. Mainly because of its healing nature, it heal fast and it does not have any side affects. Once he heal, there shall be no after affect of the wound or anything like that. And although outer wound is his speciality, he is second to none is healing diseases as well.

Vann: I tried helping others as well, thinking something might be wrong or my ability has lessen but no everything is fine with others. But just with Tilbe, it have no effect.

He looked as worried as ever as he confessed so. His expression gloom and blank.

But I understand, he have the ability to save and make anyone feel better and heal them, but only except for the one he love. He could not help his women, and only her at that.

Heri: Then we have to quickly find what is wrong with Tilbe right? Is there anything I can help with?

He nod in a no as I said that, well I guess that is why he did not share with me.

Vann: There is nothing wrong with Tilbe, I have checked thoroughly. She is alright in everything. And there is nothing wrong with my ability as well, I have checked as much as I can. So we can do nothing but just wait for how her body react.

I sigh as he said that, there is no such record of anything of this sort. That is a body rejecting a helping power.

But that may be because in the history of Iklu, only one healer has been born besides Vann and that was centuries back. So there are no much record of such sort. So one way of help is cut.

Vann: Ri, her body is weakening.

I look up at him in concerned, as he just look down at his hand and said so, his expression blank and lost.

Vann: And I can do nothing about it.

I know that Vann cannot heal a weakened body, because that is not a sickness or a wound. Rather he can heal whatever is causing the pain and the body nurturing have to be done naturally by the body. And this is nothing to worry about, since the root problem is solve and no more harm will come.

But in this case this is different, since Tilbe has a naturally weak body, even if he did heal her sickness, she still have many problems that cannot be treated.

Heri: Don't worry, we will find a way to. We have to.

Vann: But she is sick day and night these day, and when i treat her she will fall back to sleep too tired. But then nightmares comes when she sleep and when she wake she will cry or stay silent in sadness. And all this will make her sick again, while this weaken her body more and more. The cycle seems so vicious but I can do nothing about it.

I know Tilbe will be hard to be like her normal self again. She basically grow up in grandpa's lap and only know him as her guardian. He taught her evrything she know of and love her more than anything.

To lose someone like that, one have to mourn and be sad. It is natural. And she do too, but even in this, her health is on the way. Cause I knew from the funeral, I knew she will be sick with how much she was crying and to top it off not eating and sleeping. Her body can't bear such a thing.

Heri: Then we have to try our best to make her happy right? We have to make sure that she can move on and carry on with her life with the same optimism she had before. And I swear I with mom and dad will be there in every step of doing that. Tell us anything you need and we will be on our way.

He just nod as I said that while I sigh once again.

Galen: If you need anything at all, please feel free to tell me as well.

Both of us look at the door as we heard the voice of Galen.

He came in and place a container and some document by my office.

While I stand up and wish him with a hug.

While we were doing so, Vann also stood up, I guess once again ready to go.

Heri: Vann, can't to stay with us for a bit more.

Vann: Tilbe need to be treated. I have been gone for about an hour now, she might be sick again.

I nod in understanding as he said that, I know he is unwell as well. But for now, Tilbe's health come first and foremost. I guess I will talk to him later in the night when both of us get home.

Galen: Wait by any chance does Tilbe need energy?

Both Vann and me look at him a bit confused.

Heri: Energy as in?

Galen: Physical energy.

Vann nod in a yes.

Vann: Umm, she mostly do. Do you know if a remedy through which she can gain her energy?

When Vann ask that, he bring out a little potion from his pocket and give it to Vann which she confusedly take.

Galen: Like I can make other energy, I can so share some physical energy. But not a lot, since it will end up hurting the other party rather than helping them.

It is known that by one way or another, Galen know how to make energy and that energy is how Iklu operate without fuel or electricity. As it replicate it.

But that is the extend of what we know about his ability and nothing else. So I never knew he can share his physical energy as well, I have to ask him more about this.

I was thinking about it while Vann thank Galen and was about to go when I feel a piercing pain in my heart and fall down in a thud.

I can't breath, it hurt. It hurt so much, my heart it feel like someone is squeezing it.

I heard Vann and Galen shouting out my name and catching me but before anything else happen, everything goes dark and I seems to be loosing my conciousness but even then I still feel the vivid pain in my whole body.
