The Rogue Alpha's Bastard

   Well, where do we begin... How about the conception of our heroine? It all started in the woods   outlining the boundaries of the Blood Moon Pack. Ester, the pack’s top nurse, was running in the moonlight. She was in heat and wanted to wait for her True Mate. So, she kept away from the males in the pack.  While she was running, she heard her Wolf call out “MATE” She stopped dead in her tracks and there, he emerged, from the shadows of the trees. A huge, silky black wolf with piercing red eyes. They circled each other not breaking eye contact. Soon they shifted into their human forms and entered into a passionate embrace. Once they finished, she looked to her newfound mate "Mark me my mate, so I can forever be yours"      "Mark you? HA! I will do nothing of the sort! We will NEVER be mates! I, Bruno, Alpha to the Rogues, reject you, Ester as my mate!" he shouted with hatred filling every word.      "What? How do you know who I am? And why? We just mated! What has changed your mind?! Please don't you're my mate!" she pleaded.      "I know all of my rival pack’s members and I AM MATE TO NONE! I GIVE MY POWER OVER ME TO NO ONE!" he shouted as he struck her down.        “Please don’t hurt me mate!” she cried out      “You’re testing my patience, slut! Leave with your life and be grateful that you can say the great Alpha king had his way with you!"        Without hesitation, she shifted to run away. Once she was clear from danger, she stood in the woods and cried out in anguish, and her mournful howl could be heard for miles. She returned to the pack and sheltered herself for weeks; rejected and heart broken.   Ester soon came to realize that she was with child. It was bittersweet; she had always wanted to be a mother, but she would always be reminded of the mate who rejected her.    ---      It had been months, and she was starting to show her pregnancy. The recently appointed Alpha, Merrick, and his Luna, Mary had come to her with questions of the parentage. Once told, Merrick was enraged: his eyes blackened and with a booming voice said "GET RID OF THE BASTARD’S ROGUE MUTT OR LEAVE THE PACK AND NEVER RETURN"       "Please alpha forgive me I did not know who the wolf was until after! Please do not take it out on my unborn child! They are innocent of anything. I will raise my child without the knowledge of their father and with Blood Moon values! I'll do anything just please; I cannot survive on my own with a baby out there!" Ester pleaded.       The tears streaming down her face pulled at the heartstrings of the Luna.  Mary was quick to calm down her mate and had him think about what it would be like to ripped away from their child Zane.  "The love a mother has for her child knows no bounds. If she does as she says, the child will be of no danger to us or the pack".   Mary was kind and soft hearted, well-liked by the pack, and a pleasant contrast to her hot headed, strict mate. Merrick paused for a moment, looking at the sobbing Ester in front of him. He felt pity and agreed "There is one condition: the child will be treated as the lowest of the pack ranks and will have to work for her stay once, she is old enough"  ---      Ester was grateful to the Alpha for allowing her to stay. When she gave birth to her beautiful baby girl, she gave her the name Roxara and her heart was filled with joy. Ester raised Roxara and by the time she was 7, Ester had started to heal and rejoin pack activities.       At a moonlight dance, Ester met another mate, but he just looked at her and spat. He wanted nothing to do with the single mother of a bastard child. She barely recovered as she returned home and vowed never to try and find a mate again. She had hardly recovered from the last rejection and had once again faced one of the worst feelings a werewolf could feel. She became shut off and broken, barely a person. She cared for and loved Roxara the best she could, but she was broken inside.       Roxara was a spirited child and always got into fights with others in the pack. Originally, her mother supported and raised Roxara to be strong; now she told her to submissive. As time went on, Roxara was constantly treated like dirt and neglected by the other pack members. She took solace in an iPod her mom bought her once upon a time.       She would always download new music when she could sneak a moment from the pack's library computer. She was not allowed to be on it, but she had made a friend with another member, Danny a blonde haired, blue eyed male wolf. He had many friends, but always favored Roxara, as he was her only friend.       Danny helped run the library and assist with the pack’s IT needs. He would sneak her in late at night every few months to download new music. He always made sure he had new headphones and extra replacements since the other wolves would rip them off Roxara and break them when they could.      She had support and love from Danny and her mother but sometimes it wasn’t enough. She still mentally shut down her true feelings. She became submissive, accepting the pack’s neglect, though she still held out hope that one day she could be herself and break free of the abuse.
