Just A Friend

Luciano I had been watching Adriano very carefully. He didn't trust me but wanted to spend so much time with his long-lost son that he was distracted enough for me to look into his business from the inside. He was apparently working on a trade deal with my great grandfather. Interesting, Daniel said he never wanted anything from Adriano. So, what was his angle? "Heitor," Camila called. "Heitor." I heard her lovely soft voice but I forgot my name for a moment. "Yes, what is it?" I asked. "Do you think Luciano would come to my uncle's birthday tomorrow?" her question was full of hope and sadness. "Why don't you ask him?" I said. "He has been avoiding me," she said. "I know I am just his annoying little sister but." "You are not his sister," I interrupted. She pouted. "You know what I mean," she snapped. "I know I am younger and probably annoying to him, but I want him to meet the rest of our-, my family." "I will ask him," I said. "Really," Camila jumped up and hugged me. She quickly let go and blinked rapidly. "Sorry." She ran upstairs. "The girl never gives up," Demetri said. "Why are you kind to her?" "She may come in handy someday," I told him. "Well, Heitor has some information for you," Demetri said. "Adriano and Viicente are doing business with a man called Dario. He has several honest businesses but he is also known to have shady brothels in his country." "Adriano doing business with a vile man like that," I said. "Interesting. Where is Heitor now?" "With Adriano, it seems he is also trying to convince him to go to this birthday party," Demetri explained. "Then it is certain now, we will go," I said. The Next Day The three of us got ready to go to Adriano's brother, Vicente's house. It was his birthday. The birthday was lavish. There were silk curtains everywhere. Servers dressed in black and red with masks covering their eyes. All the guests were dressed in tuxes and gowns. This seemed more like a grand ball then a birthday party. Heitor was greeted by Adriano. "I am glad that you came. This is my brother Vicente," he said. "Hey little man, well huge man. I haven't seen you in years," I rolled my eyes at his remark. They were always acting as if it wasn't their choice to abandon me. "Yes, long time," Heitor answered. "Luciano, Demetri," Rosa called. "And hello Heitor." I didn't like how that name I was borrowing rolled off her tongue. This child was delusional. Her father noticed and snapped her back to reality. "Hello everyone," Adriana greeted. "Has anyone seen Camila?" "She was here earlier helping out," Vicente said. I thought to myself just how kind or stupid was this girl. "I'll go look for her," Adriana said as she pulled her sister along. My eyes followed them, hoping to find her too. Adriano took Heitor to meet some more guests. He was a proud father introducing the world to his son. I rolled my eyes again but I focused on the task at hand. I walked off to go and search for that stupid girl. I heard Rosa and Adriana laughing. I looked over to a secluded corner where Camila was standing, awfully close to some boy. I looked at Camila thoroughly. She looked like a goddess. Her dress pink and covered in sequins. It fell off her shoulder on one side and had a long drape falling to the ground on the other. It cinched at the waist, showing off her incredible curves. It had a thigh high slit showing off her long tone legs. She definitely looked her age in this dress. The boy she was standing with touched her arm. I cleared my throat, Rosa and Adriana both quickly turned around. "Your father was looking for you," I lied. They both widened their eyes and ran off to find him. I walked over to the pair that was still in their conversation and cleared my throat again. "Camila," I spoke. "Heitor," she said nervously. "Your brother was looking for you," "Really?" she questioned. I wasn't completely lying, now was I? "I will take you to him," I said. "Who the hell are you?" the boy asked. "Lincoln, don't be rude," Camila said. "He is a friend of my brother." "I thought he wasn't your brother," the boy added. "He is," I answered. "And he wouldn't like you here with some strange boy." "Strange," Lincoln huffed. Camila grabbed my arm and pulled me away from him. "I'll see you later Lincoln," Camila said as she continued to drag me off. She pulled me outside by the pool. It was dark and the only think lighting the place was the pool lights floating in the water. "I hope he didn't offend you," Camila spoke. "He didn't," I answered. "So, who was he?" "A friend," she said nervously. "Just a friend," I raised my eyebrow. "I," she paused. "My mother and father would want us to be more. They would never force me to marry anyone but they have made it clear that he is a good man and has a respected family." "I see," "Don't tell Luciano," I smiled at her words. "Why not?" I questioned. "He, he already hates me and if he disapproves or thinks I am finding someone to take his place," "What?" "Well, he is the heir," she paused nervously. "I shouldn't say anything." "It's okay, I can keep a secret," I told her. "No, it's nothing, forget it," "Okay, forgotten," I didn't want to press her. I needed to earn her trust to get all the information I needed. "So, I should go find Luciano," she said. "Wait," I pulled her to the side of the house. "What?" she looked up at me nervously. "You look nice." "Oh," she began to blush. "Thank you." "I don't think your brother would be the only one disappointed in your marriage to that boy," I said softly. I moved in closer. My lips inches away from hers. "Heitor," I grew angry at her for saying that name right now. I kissed her fiercly to stop her from saying it again. Her hands shot up as if she wanted to touch my face. I didn't want any tenderness from her. I grabbed her wrists and slammed her hands on the brick wall behind her. I bit her bottom lip and she moaned softly. I suddenly lost control at the soft sound she made. I held her wrists with just one hand while the other went in her slit and lifted her leg up. Suddenly, "Camila," someone called.
