Keyome’s POV

So many memories in this castle. Back in my younger days I used to train here before I was in the rank I am in now. 

“Boss everything is going as planned. She loves the castle too.” I say back to the boss

“Good. Were you able to do as I asked?” he asks 

“Yes I am sending it over now.” I say to him 

“Ah Keyome, she looks so lovely and happy. I hope she comes home soon.” he says back to me. 

“I hope so too boss I hope so too.” I say back to him 

Paris’s POV

The dance is surrounded by many teenagers enjoying themselves. It looks so peaceful and lovely in here. I love every detail in this castle. I love everything I see.  Everyone in their dresses and suits look so happy. I hope things tonight will end in a blast for everyone. I see so many seniors ready to finish off this year and move on to the next part of their lives. 

It makes me think of me and Jack’s plans to leave and move on on our own. Once again it was wishful thinking. I know now that things have changed for me and I can be and make that difference. I just wish it was with Jack. But I can’t dwell in it. But then again he’s been trying so why not? Why not give him that chance. One more chance right? 

I can’t wait to get on the dance floor and enjoy myself. Danny has been nagging to dance so we go and man do I not regret it. We dance for 2 hours straight and the music and everyone is popping. During the time we hit the floor everyone complimented me and Danny’s outfits. I guess we really did match the party tonight. 

I also feel a gaze the whole time on me, but I try not to mess up the mood for everyone and just hangout and have a fun time. It’s been a while since I’ve felt this way. I haven’t been so happy in so long. I also put in my 2 weeks at the diner which surprised everyone. Since I decided I don’t want to come back to school next year here, I might as well live my life now. I also put in my 3 months notice for my apartment as well. They were so happy for me. I feel so happy. I feel like I am making a good decision in my life. I need to move on from my past and live a new and better life. 

“Paris lets go!” Says Cidney 

Everyone else catches up with me and Danny and we all start walking towards the entrance. And of course I feel someone following me as well. I already know it’s Jack, but still he needs to hangout and have a good time tonight. I don’t want anything bad to happen. 

We walk upstairs and go into several rooms. To our surprise they are all clean and they look livable. This castle is not dusty at all. Lights are lit around the whole castle like someone lives here, but to our knowledge it’s empty and the school was allowed to rent from the owner. How weird. 

“Paris, look it’s the master.” Cidney points to a huge door 

We all walk to the master and go inside. Definitely not eerie, but it’s not empty. I feel a presence here and it’s not human. Maybe this place is haunted. As all of us get into the room the next thing you know the lights all turn off and the door slams. 

“The doors are locked, I can’t open it.” Felix says 

“Oh no!” I hear Rose scream 

The windows burst open and a cold breeze comes into the room. I can see my breath perfectly, but I don’t feel scared at all. I wonder why. 

“Eeeeek! Something just touched me!” Rose screams

“Chill out Rose!” Felix yells back to her 

The lights turn back on and I hear another scream as a bodied shadow is seen in the corner of the room that moves right when the lights go out again. 

“Lets go!” I can’t do this anymore.” Cidney yells 

Felix is able to open the door and we all run out of the room looking like crazy kids. The windows and lights in the hallways turn off so we all run. 

Where is everyone? I don’t hear anyone. Did I run separately from them? I hear a scream and try to run in that direction, but I can see that the hallway is a dead end. So I keep walking and looking around the castle. I am  definitely lost. I see a few lights lit in a hallway and follow the lights from there. There should be someone close by if those lights are lit right? 

I follow the wall and it looks like I may be at the actual entrance of the castle. For Prom we came from the side gate. This castle is huge so we are in the side villa, but still the villa is huge. I walk around and there is a huge stairway and I walk up it. Wow this place is even bigger than I thought. It has a soothing feeling for some reason here. Like I belong here. 

When I get up to the top of the stairway I see a photo of someone. A little girl. Fair skinned with rosey cheeks. Wait. Her eyes. They are the same color eyes as me. And you know what, this person looks a lot like me. Could it be? No there is no way. I am a castaway with no powers with nothing that belongs to me.  This can’t be happening. Maybe I hit my head when I was running out and I am dreaming right now. Maybe I ….

“Hello Miss. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen you. We have been waiting for you.” A voice says to me 

I turn around and see no one and start walking down the stairs trying to find a door. 

“Please don’t go. It’s been too long.” Another voice says to me 

“Who's there?” I ask  

“Sorry to be so rude. We are the Lin twins.” they say as I see two kids around my age walk out from the shadows 

They’re beautiful. I’ve never seen such beautiful beings in my life. 

“Miss we have been waiting for you for so long.” They say to me 

“What do you mean?” I ask back
