The Lin Twins

Paris’s POV

“I think you may have gotten the wrong person mixed up.” I say to the twins

“No we are right. We can smell it on you.” They both say together. 

“Smell it on me? What does that mean?” I ask them

“Just get to the point Hanz.” the girl twin says to the boy

“As you wish sister dearest.” he says back to her 

“My name is Hanz Lin and this is my twin sister Gretch Lin. We are the Lin twins and also watchers of this castle. And don’t worry we are not ghosts. We just had a bit of fun scaring your friends.” Hanz says to me laughing 

“So why and how do you guys know me?” I ask them 

“Well, it’s more like we know of you.” they both say back to me shaking their heads

“Anyways, welcome to the Castle Moon.” Hanz says to me 

“This castle was purchased by our boss not too long ago. He purchased it after finding out you lived here.” Hanz says

“Why would someone purchase a castle after finding out that I live here?” I ask them 

“It’s a bit complicated. I am not the one to explain things like this to you. I think it’s best if master or Mars tells you instead.” Hanz says back to me 

“Mars? What does he have to do with this?” I ask them 

“Mars is in charge of this mission. He hasn’t told you that?” Gretch asks

“No he has not! And what mission?” I ask them 

“Look what you did!” Hanz says back to Gretch 

“What! She needs to know. That’s probably why this has been taking longer than it should.” Gretch says to Hanz

“Paris, you are a very important person to our boss and us and our whole community. Our boss has been looking for you for a long long time. You are someone he truly cares about and loves who wants you to come back home with us.” Gretch says to me 

“Who is this boss of yours? There is no way I would know someone like him.” I say to them. 

“Please we would not be here if we had to, but we have no choice to babysit.” Gretch says to me 

“What she means is, we are definitely here for you and only you. All of us have been sent to find you and take you home. We wish we could go into more contact with you about this but believe me, you are of the utmost importance to us.” Hanz says to me 

“I am not too sure what is going on. I don’t know anyone that you are talking about and this is just too much for me.” I say back to them 

“Look! You have broken up with your boyfriend. Your family abuses you physically and mentally. You have no job or a place anymore and your school year is going to end. Your boyfriend, I mean ex boyfriend has a mate and you have nothing else to lose. Come and leave with us. Stop wasting all of our time! We have bigger things to take care of.” Gretch says to me  

“How did you know about all of this and wait, you know about mates?” I ask her 

“Hanz just grab her!” Gretch says to Hanz

“What!” I say back to them 

“She’s not going anywhere.” Jack says behind me 

“Jack what are you doing here?” I ask him 

“ I was nearby and heard you and wanted to make sure you are okay.” Jack says to me 

“Nearby huh?” Gretch says sarcastically back to Jack

“Yes nearby.” he says back to her 

“How many times do you lie?” Gretch says to him 

“It’s none of our business, right Gretch.” Hanz says 

“Anyways, Paris please give it a thought. Here is my card. If you ever come to a decision, even if it’s a no, please tell me.” he says back to me 

“I will thanks.” I say back to them as they both walk and leave the castle  

“Paris do you know them?” Jack asks 

“No I don’t but things have been a bit weird lately. Random people have popped in my life out of nowhere.” I say back to Jack thinking 

“How are you liking Prom so far?” he asks me 

“It’s been fun. How about you?” I ask him 

“Miserable.” He says back to me 

“Why?” I ask him

“Paris to be honest I feel like I am the only one trying to akre this work. I have been calling and texting you non stop and you have been dodging me everytime I see you. And honestly I am upset at the fact that you are not trying with me. I have apologized and have tried many times to make things up to you, but you won’t let me. So why?” he asks me 

“Why? I told you already. I was never yours. It is your destiny with your mate. I am not going to stop or ruin something like that.” I say to him. 

“ And I told you that I would fix things, but you not talking to me isn’t helping me out and making things better for us. I am tired of doing things by myself Paris. I’m not going to fight for something when the other doesn’t care at all.” He says to me 

“Then don’t!” I say back to him leaving
