Paris’s POV “Paris please wait!” I hear Jack screaming trying to get me  “Jack you can’t right now. We have things to settle before this school year ends.” I hear Bethany say to him  “What the f**k just happened?” I hear Jenna scream  Good luck with all of that bitches I am out here! I believe Karma comes in ten folds. I don’t know why me but I was the one that ended up really getting hurt the most in this. I hate this place, I hate these people, I hate this world. I go straight home, pack my bag and a few books and take the next bus out of town. To hell with everyone! I am sorry Danny. I will come back when I can.  ~ End of Summer and Upcoming Senior Year ~ Paris’s/ Lilly’s POV  “Lilly can you help restock those shelves? The author and editor of the new comic book will be coming here in 2 days so we want this store to look presentable” Mrs. Wyatt asks me  “Okay will do.” I saw back to her  I finish setting the book store up and then close the store for the day. I’m excited to see the author and editor of this gruesome romantic love novel about concubines in East Asia.  “Hey Lilly, before you go, I know that you are in school now for business but I wanted to know if you would like to intern for my nephew business in the city?” Mrs. Wyatt asks “You don’t want me to work here?” I ask her.  “It’s not that I don't, it's just I know that you are way sharper then this little old book store and my nephew is in need of an assistant like now and well I recommended you and he said yes.” she says back to me  “I promise it won’t be as much. He has 2 other assistants that handle other things and just need more of a personal assistant. Right now he just needs someone till he can get someone else and then if you would like you can intern there after they find someone. It’s a bit of an emergency for us but I know you can do it and the pay is very well.” she says back to me smiling  “Plus I know this will help you out tremendously since you are paying for everything on your own and I won’t need that much help here. I have the other 4 employees to pick up your shift.” she says to me “So what do you think?” she asks me  “Hello I am here for an interview with Mr. Zack Wyatt.” I say to the front desk. I see everyone looking at me down and smirking “Please be seated and I will page his office for you.” the receptionist says to me  What a snobby b***h. I thought I left that but I guess people are like that everywhere. She even rolled her eyes at me when she paged them and looked like she was losing sleep over doing that for me.  As I sit here and wait, I think about when I left prom with everyone behind me. I left and didn’t tell anyone where I was going. I took the bus for hours and then another and then another and then another and ended up in Canada. Life is different here but most of the people are nice. I found a job working at a bookstore and ended up renting a loft above the store.  Of course I changed my name so that no one can find me. I haven’t spoken to anyone since the end of the last school year and this summer. I know I should not have, but I ran away and I don’t ever want to turn back to it.  It’s been about 2 hours. Did they forget about me? You know what, I took people’s crap there when I was at home and I am not going to do so here. I got up and started walking out. I will not work for someone who doesn’t respect his own employees.  “Miss Yates, are you leaving?” the receptionist says  “Yes. I have better things to do than to sit here. Good bye.” I say to her and wave  “A little rebellious don’t you think?” I hear a man's voice say behind me  “I won’t work for someone who does not appreciate the effort an employee is worth, regardless of their level in the company.” I say to the man  And yes everyone all of a sudden heard what I said and stopped  “Oh really?” he says back to me  “Really really.” I say back to him  “And what if that person closed a 2 year contract that this entire company was working on and that is why they were late for the interview?” he says back to me  “If it took 2 years to close a deal, then they should have never scheduled a 30 minute interview in the first place.” I say back to him and start walking out  “I like her! Make her stay. It will be fun.” Another male voice says  “Miss Lilly Yates, if you have time now, we can give you an interview. That is only if you have enough time on your hands?” he asks me irritated  This is a good job opportunity for my future as well.  “Okay! Where do we go?” I say to them  The interview was only about 20 minutes and I got the position. I will start on Monday. The strict man was Mr. Zach Wyatt and his younger brother Cruz Wyatt head director of the financing department. They agreed on my work schedule and used this opportunity as an internship in work study.  Mrs. Wyatt took me shopping to get school supplies and clothes for work. I don’t know what I would do without that lady. She takes such good care of me. I have dinner at her house, leave and say my goodbyes and head back to the bookstore.  Tomorrow will be a good day and I will start over and do things my way. I will and I can do this. A hopefull and  better future for me awaits.
