Chapter 2
The Encounter
I sat in my room, wandering back to the evening events.
Meeting Josephine by chance, saving her from Ken's grip, walking her home left a special feeling.
Being that close to her for the first time made me feel butterflies in my stomach.
My mind replayed how terrified she looked; not saying a word after she asked what my intentions were.
With her voice barely above a whisper, she asked.
“Are you with Ken? Or are you here to hurt me?,” she asked, moving backward.
“No, I'm here to help, take a deep breath.
You're safe now,” I assured, giving her water to drink to calm her down.
Surprisingly she gulped it like a drowning lady gasping for air.
“Thank you,” she said.
Still uncomfortable around me.
“I didn't blame her, I could only imagine the bad experience she had with her best friend.
She wouldn't trust a stranger immediately after the whole incident,”I thought to myself.
“Is your house far from here?”
“you need to go home and get some rest if possible,” I suggested.
“Okay, You're right. I need to leave and clear my head.
No, my house isn't far from here, it is just a few meters away,” she said, stuttering.
That's how she bought the idea to get home and rest.
I offered to walk her home, but she refused.
It wasn't easy convincing her to let me walk her home, since we couldn't find any other means of leaving the party.
“No, don't worry. I can walk home alone and I might see a taxi on my way.” She said, with confidence.
“No, you will rarely see a taxi along this path, it is late already.”
“It might be dangerous to walk alone by this time, and I understand you need to get some rest.” “Allow me to walk you home, so I'll be sure you're safe.” I said.
“Okay, you can.”
As we walked through the quiet street, our silence was palpable. I could only hear our footsteps and sounds of birds chirping.
So I had to break the silence.
“You're so quiet, don't you think talking could relieve you of your thoughts and hurts,” I said in a calm voice.
She turned, looking at me “ I don't want to talk right now. I'm sorry,” she said.
The silence between us deepened after the question as she hastened her steps.
“It's okay, I won't force you to talk," I replied.
I guess I was pushing her too hard.
After her experience, it was best I let her be.
It didn't feel like a night to have a meaningful conversation, I thought.
As we walked down for a few minutes, she reduced her steps.
“Why did she start walking slowly all of a sudden?” I thought.
“I'll be fine from here, my house is a stone throw from here.”
“Thankyou for walking with me, I really appreciate your concern.”
“ It's kind of you to do this for a stranger,” She said, assuring me that she will be fine.
“Stranger”
The word hit me hard.
She saw me as a stranger, but I wished she knew that she was never a stranger to me.
I have been staring at Ken and Josephine In school, and anywhere I saw them. And they seemed so closer to me than friends. This time, I noticed as she danced with Ken at the party with so much energy and closeness.
I felt jealous, but could not stop staring at times. I tried distracting myself with friends and conversations but I kept on turning to check on them.
I noticed Ken dragging her out of the party hall, but I ignored it with questions in my mind.
“Could they be going out to have a fun time?”
“Why do they claim to be just friends,” I thought with concern.
In a few minutes I turned to see Ken taking her into the VIP Lounge. Then my curiosity aroused.
I thought of it as a bad idea to spy on them to know if they were really into something serious.
But I had to, before laying my conclusions.
So I decided to check out for them, a few minutes after they entered the room.
I couldn't believe my eyes at the VIP Lounge. I never knew Ken could be such a moron by trying to harass a lady, a lady that is his best friend. It was pathetic.
I thought he could never do anything like that to her but he proved my thoughts wrong.
“Ken doesn't deserve anyone like Josephine, he tried to hurt her.”
“If she knew I have been admiring her for a long time, watching her from afar, then she wouldn't say I was just helping a stranger,” I thought to myself.
I requested to follow her, but she insisted.
It was obvious that she didn't trust me completely as a stranger to know where she lives.
I was worried about leaving her, but I couldn't persuade her to allow me to walk her further.
“You've done enough
Thank You for saving and for walking me home” she said, taking few steps forward.”
“Okay, I trust you will be fine from here as you've said.
“ Try to get some rest when you get home," I said.
" Okay, Thankyou. I will,” she said walking away.
I watched her walk further, I could not help but have mixed feelings about meeting her tonight.
I thought of her while taking a few steps forward. I could still hear her calm voice in my head saying “Hey.”
It sounded so real, but I was lost in my thoughts.
Then, I heard it again.
That's when I turned and was startled at the sight.
It was Josephine again!!.
Hey, what are you doing here? Thought I saw you leaving,” I asked curiously.
“While strolling, I suddenly recalled that I never asked the stranger who rescued me and walked me home for his name. That was impolite, and I apologize. So what's your name?” she asked.
“It's fine.
I'm Donald,” I replied smiling.
“I'm Josephine, nice meeting you Donald.
Thank you again for today.”
“Good night,” She said walking away.
“Atleast she knew my name.” I thought of her until i dozed off.
I saw Josephine in my room close to me, with my head on her thighs and her soft hand brushing my hair slowly.
Singing love songs in a soft and sweet tone, on how much she loves me. Promising never to leave me, while caressing my chest and arms. Her smile was beautiful and contagious.
It gave me all the assurance I needed at the moment.
“I love you Donald and I promise not to leave you,” she said.
“I love you even more, I promise to stand by you and to always be there whenever you need me,” I said, assuring her.
“Come closer and give me a kiss, my love,” I said smiling.
I joined my lips to Josephine's, as our tounges tangled sending shivers down my spine.
Her hands gripped my shoulders, pulling me closer. I wrapped my arms around her, touching her back down to her curves till I could feel goosebumps on her skin.
Our kiss deepened as I felt aroused, my c**k getting harder with every kiss making me want to devour her.
My fingers drifted down her chest as I slid my hand under her shirt, exploring her breast as she moaned lightly. While her n****e stiffened from my touch.
I trailed down her hips and thighs. Her legs parted, inviting my touch but I wanted to take things slowly, exploring every part of her body.
So I trailed downwards as Josephine's moans vibrated against my lips.
I brushed against her wetness until she called out, “Donald, I want you.”
She quickly grabbed my belt, trying to unbuckle it with my hands still rubbing against her c**t and our lips deeply locked in passion.
