Chapter twenty nine - The sudden changes of events

"Hey wake up, it's morning already, so let's start packing" I say, trying to wake up star light.
"Ugh" she groans.
"Why are we packing?" she asks.
"We are going to leave this place, duh" I say.
"Whyyy? I thought you slept over it" she complains.
"Never, I'm definitely gonna get outta here, whether you like it or not, so get up" I answer her.
"OK, if that would clear your doubt that we are not going to be attacked by anything, so be it" she says as she walks out of the tent.
I start packing things as soon as she gets out. I want to find a new place for us before noon. Within an hour, everything is inside my bag pack.
"So, let's get going" I say.
I pick up the bag pack and put it on my back. It's still so heavy and also the fact that I'm still weak from my fever yesterday, which makes it a lot heavier.
Gosh! It was so bad, I don't wanna even talk about it.
"Where are we headed to now?" she asks.
"Ahhh, I don't know, but I want us to find a place with a water source" I say.
I really do need to have a bath. It's been over a week since I had one. I'm starting to look just like when I was lost in that forest in Kansasdale. The only difference is that now I'm changing clothes and I'm not lost, not yet.
"OK, but we have to go deep inside the forest for that" she says and I know she's just trying to discourage me.
Well, good luck with that, because I've already made up my mind, I'm not staying here any longer.
"It's fine by me" I say.
"And there's no network service" she adds.
"Still OK with it, at least we'll all be alright" I say.
"Oook, have it your way" she finally gives up and leads the way.
She stops from her track.
"But you're still weak as it is, can't we wait a little more?" she asks.
I see that she's so adamant for us to stay here, but I won't give up this easily.
"No I'm perfectly OK now, your medicine worked it's magic" I answer.
"OK" she says and starts to lead the way.

"We just have to wait a little bit and see what's going to happen now" I say to Beta Harry.
He has just asked me about the update of the search and I told him all the important updates. I hope they find those stupid creatures soon.
"That's good news, when should we tell the pack members?" he asks.
"Not now, I want to know if they have find the girl as well, then we'll make it public" I say.
It's not that I don't trust my pack members, no. But informing many individuals might alert her and that would be bad because we are this close to trapping her.
"OK as you say my Alpha" he says.
"What are you guys talking about?" My sister asks as she walks into the meeting room.
Only the members of the high table have access to this room.
You are probably wonder who these high table members are. It's me, my Luna, if I have one but unfortunately I still don't, then my Beta and his mate, my second in command and his mate too. My sister is also a member of the high table, she was my substitute Luna before she found her mate, and also her deceased mate was also among the high table members.
We are all the ones that ensure peace and unity amongst the pack members. Also I forgot to mention that there is also one representative from each sect of supernatural creatures that is representing them on the high table apart from there leaders. The job will be hard for them to take all at once. They are not like me. I'm like three being at a time, literally.
"He's updating me about the search of the attackers" Beta Harry answers.
She vamp speed to her chair and sits.
"Any good news then?" she asks eagerly.
"No, I haven't talked to him since yesterday that we spoke and you heard all the conversation" I answer.
"Yeah, that's right" she says, a bit disappointed.
As if on cue, Alpha Gilbert text comes into my phone.
It reads.
"Morning Sir, I hope I'm not disturbing, that's why I didn't call but texted instead. By the way, I have a very good news".
I quickly text him back.
"No, I have woken up like an hour ago, just video call me" I type and send.
About two minutes later, he calls me through video chat. I want Beta Harry and my sister to see what he's gonna say too, that's why I asked him to video chat me. Beta Harry connected the phone to our meeting lap top, so the call is projected now.
"Good morning si...everyone" he says when he realized that I wasn't alone.
"Morning" I answer.
"So what's the good news?" I ask, getting straight to the point.
I don't want any formalities right now.
"We have got them" he says.
"Who?" I ask, I'm hoping it's that girl and her friends he's talking about.
"We have tracked down her friends and they are in my house right now" he explains.
I half smile, I was hoping he would say that he had found her too. I just want to see that deceitful face of hers.
"You're at it again" my beast warns.
"That's good news then, where are they?" I ask, trying to shun her thought out of my mind and soul.
"Bring them in" he says to somebody close to him.
"They'll bring them in now" he says.
"Is that your sister?" he asks, pointing at my sister.
Isn't that obvious, my sister and I look pretty much alike, the difference is just the hair. She has a blond hair just like our mum's and I have my father's hair, which is a shade of dark brown.
"Yes" I answer.
"Ahh, hey, I heard about what happened to your mate, my condolences" he says sadly.
"Thanks" my sister answers in a teary voice.
I turn and face her. She's holding the tears from rolling off her eyes.
"Oh! Here they are" he says.
He brings forward two women to the screen. He reaches out to remove their blindfold but I stop him by raising my hand.
"Ask them where their friend is" I say.
"I've already asked them but they said that they didn't know, they said she just disappeared over a week ago and she's not in contact with them anymore" he says.
"OK, just keep them with you, I'm coming over tomorrow" I say.
"No Sir, you don't have to do that, I'll personally bring them to you after we have found her" he says.
"She'll eventually call them, so we have kept their phones with us, in case she called" he says.
"OK fine then" I say and disconnect the call.
"So you're saying that those attackers were lead by some tiny female humans?" my sister asks, amazed.
If only she knew.
"No, they are just among them" I answer.
"Well, that explains it, I was just wondering how these tiny girls can pull off this kind of thing" she says.
I just got off my chair.
"I'm going to retire to my room, I'll meet you all later" I say and walk out of the room.
I'm suddenly feeling angry right now and I don't wanna hurt anyone.
I storm into my room and start wrecking everything. I don't know why, but I'm feeling restless since when I finished talking to Alpha Gilbert. What could possibly happen now.
"What on earth is this?" I hear a voice besides me.
When I turn around, I see my sister staring at me with fear in her eyes. She gently start walking toward me till she's few inches away from me.
"What is wrong with you brother?" she asks.
I'm sure she can see the pain in my eyes as I keep staring at her.
"Please tell me, I'm sure that there will be a solution" she says calmly.
"There's nothing in this world that you could possibly do, even if I tell you what's wrong with me" I stare at her bitterly before barging out of the room.
I know my sister is so shocked right now for I have never spoken to her like this. I fled out of the pack house and head into the forest.
I turn into my wolf form and run into the forest with a lightening speed
