CHAPTER.9

It

Hola Pov:

I ran straight home, got inside my room, and locked myself inside for days. After two days, I still didn’t open the door, I heard my parents' voices from outside, and even my maid was begging me to eat something cause I hadn’t eaten since the day I locked myself. My mind drifted to Archer again and hot tears rolled down my cheek.

“Hola, please open this door… do you want to starve to death, don’t you even care about your health,” My mother said from outside.

“Darling, tell us what happened, and stop hurting yourself there,” Alpha Gebe said.

I still didn’t open it, I whimpered silently thinking about everything, how am I gonna tell my parents my mate hates me all because we are enemies, I am hurt inside.

“Hola, can you open the door, it us” Someone said and I recognized the voice instantly, it was Finn.

“Babe, let’s talk about what happened so please open the door” I also heard Rain’s voice.

After some minutes, I walked towards the door slowly and opened it for Rain and Finn to come in, immediately they entered, I locked the door.

“Hola, what’s wrong? Your face has swollen so you have been crying inside since these days” Finn said and pulled me in a hug.

She patted my back slowly.

“Are you sad because Archer rejected you? It may be for your safety, but you know your pack and his pack are enemies…You know my father is one of the eldest in this pack, I heard my father discussing that it was your father that killed Archer’s father” Rain said and I was shocked.

I couldn’t believe my ears, I glanced at her and asked if she knew what she was saying and she nodded that she was sure about it.

“Oh my, what am I gonna do?” I questioned.

“Hola, I don’t think there is anything you can do” Finn uttered.

“I need to go and see him so that we can sort things out,” I said and turned into my wolf form instantly then I jumped out of the window, Finn and Rain took some dresses and ran after me.

We ran through the doors and checked everywhere if we were gonna see him but we didn't see him, I was hopeless, I didn’t know what to do anymore. A few minutes later, we went to the lake and sat down at the edges. Finn and Rain were both speaking trying to cheer me up but I was not in the mood. The only person I wanted to see and speak with was Archer. I could feel Sabrina whimpering and it made me hurt more. I was lost in my thoughts thinking about Archer when Finn tapped.

“Hola, we are hearing some voice over there,” Finn said and we both tiptoed to the place where the voice was coming and saw two men in a coat, they were having some conversation, and we couldn’t see their faces because it was covered.

“Archer has become the leader of the pack when should we start the plan” One of the men said.

“You need to calm down and be patient, don’t rush things, I don’t want anything to ruin our plan… I will make sure I kill him myself” The other man said.

“Do you think you can kill him alone? He is so strong like his father… I think we should set a trap for him” The man said.

“Not now, I already made things clear, no movement for now,” The other man said.

I was about to leave with my friends when I stepped on a stick.

“Gosh, we are dead,” I thought.

“Who is there?” The two men questioned.

We immediately turned back into our wolf form and ran away speedily, the two men ran after us. They were so fast. One of them was about to catch Rain when I hit him. Rain managed to escape but I couldn’t catch him.

“If you know you are brave, kill me and my father is gonna kill you” I shouted.

“Wait… are you Alpha Gebe’s daughter?” One of them asked.

“Yes, so if you dare kill me, my father is gonna avenge my death,” I said.

The two men both glanced at themselves.

“Retreat” They whispered and they all turned back to leave, they ran away speedily.

I was so scared, I thought they were gonna kill me. I was walking away when I spotted Archer in a corner, I walked towards him.

“Archer” I called when I got to him.

He ignored me as if I didn’t even exist, I tapped his shoulder and he frowned.

“What’s your problem? Didn’t I ask you to stay away from me” He said, furiously.

“I am sorry but Archer, I want you to know you are my mate and you can’t keep hating me,” I said, gazing at him.

“If you don’t want me to get you killed right now, leave me alone… stay away from” He half yelled.

“Archer, I know you hate me because my father was the one that killed your…”

Before I could complete my words, he strangled my neck. The more he strangled my neck, the more his heart weakened, he left my neck after a few seconds.

“Stay away from me, I don’t want to see you again but if you know you are ready to die you can show your face, I will take you to the elder's counseling, if they know you are their enemies, daughter, they will kill you instantly,” He said as he walked away.

I ran after him and stood in front of him.

“Archer, you are hurting yourself if you keep pushing me away, I don’t care if my pack and your pack are enemies, all I know is that I want to stay by your side. Archer, I love you” I said but he was only staring at him.

I tapped him, jolting him out of his review, he took a glance at me and turned into his wolf form then left, I exhaled deeply and left the woods. I went back to the Mansion, I got inside and met my father sitting on the bed with anger shown in his face.

“Where are you coming from?” He questioned.

“I’m sorry, father” I muttered as I walked towards him.

He stood up in anger, glaring at me.

“I thought you locked yourself in, do you know how worried your mom and I were, she was so scared when we broke the door and we couldn’t find you inside…Hola, you are grounded and I will make sure the guards also guard in front of your window so that you won’t able to sneak out again” He said and left the room

angering.

“What the f**k” I groaned and pushed everything away, I sat down on the floor.
