The Omega

Skye's pov It was night time, and just morphed into my wolf form and headed to the other end of the forest, we were all set to hunt, Emit the alpha of the pack led the hunt, he was moving slowly and cunningly through the bushes, the herd of antelopes had spotted us and they all took to their heels, he howled exciting all the other wolves, and they went for the chase, I must admit the deers were fast, but when the cloud shifted and the moonlight shined uninterrupted on the pack, then they started moving like a blur. At least that's how they would appear to the normal eye, the herd of gazelles were coming my way, and I sprung into action and I had caught a gazelle in my fangs and so did some of the other wolves, as I howled and so did the others. Emit dragged his kill closer to me and we snuggled, well I am his soon to be mate, It 3am to be precise, the pack has just finished devouring the meal that we all hunted down, and they were all asleep now, I shifted back into my normal human form, and quickly wore my clothes, that was one of the downside of becoming a wolf, you'll tear up all your clothes if you don't mind the way you transform. I was tiptoeing slowly, and cautiously away from the forest, heading into the main land. I had walked for a while when, I saw something slightly chattering on the corpse of a dead animal it was a hell hound, nasty creeters we called them, I finally caught a glimpse of the one person that I have been looking for, standing majestic holding a bunch of flowers near his slightly old pic up truck. And I ran and hugged him, “these are for you" he said handing me the flowers “Tristan you shouldn't have," I said as we both giggled, “ive missed you a lot Skye" he said as I just kissed him. We deepened the kiss as he rested my back on his light blue truck still kissing me deeply, I could feel his hand pull my gown up and went for my underwear, “you are naughty" I said as he just laughed “you like it" he said as he opened the back door of his truck and lay me down on the back seat, and kissed me again. And then and there we slept together, he bent the front seat in such a way that we could seat down at the back seat and stretch our legs forward. The cool night breeze added to the serene atmosphere, I just stared at him, and he kissed me again, “i would really much love to stay with you Tristan but I have gotta go" I said sadly, “come on five more minutes won't hurt" he said as I just laughed “okay fine", I surrendered. “You know Skye I love you very much, I don't ever wanna see you hurt" he said “why do you sound like you wanna leave me?" I asked him laughing, “its just that I know you are betrothed to the alpha of your pack, I am actually worried of what would happen if they find out" he said I stared at his light blue eyes, “you know ever since Emits mate died leaving him when a son, immediately I was betrothed to him, but I don't love him I love you, and as long as we are together love would always find a way, be it this lifetime or the next" I said as he breathes out “what would I ever do without you" he said as he leaned in to kiss me “nothing" I said as we locked lips again. We heard chattering sounds and Tristan looked on the alert, and so did I, before we spotted the intruder, “its just a hellhound looking for some corpses to ravish on" I said as we both relaxed. “if reincarnation was real I d like to come back as one of those hell hounds, only that I'd look more human and won't feed on corpses" he said and I smiled “well me I would come back still as a wolf I like it," then I sighed as everywhere became quiet “i seriously have to go now" I said as I stepped out from the car adjusting my clothes, “we'll meet again right?" He asked me “of course" I replied him and headed into the forest. It's been over 4 weeks now and I have been feeling slightly nauseous, and light headed I wondered why, Emit walked up to me “skye I've been making preparations for our matrimonial ceremony to be moved up, so th......." I hurriedly ran to throw up he just stared at me weirdly, “are you okay Skye? " He asked me and I just nodded, but i had a hunch on what the cause of my illness was. At night fall I scurried past all, wolves, I had to talk to Tristan urgently, the moon loomed brightly in the sky as I walked quickly taking brisk steps, I shrieked a little as something startled me, it was those bloody hounds again, I just ducked past them. I finally found him standing all regal, resting his back in his truck, just seeing him made me smile, and watching him smile, was all I needed to forget temporarily what ails me, “how have you been my love?" He asked me as I walked into his arms, “ive missed you" I found myself saying “you look troubled" he said “its that obvious huh?" I asked back, he held me in a tighter embrace “whats wrong?" He asked with a lot of concern on his face “Tristan you are gonna be a father" I said happily as he had the brightest smile, I had ever seen “thats great! Oh my goodness I'm so happy' he said smiling, but I want as enthusiastic as he was “you are not excited" He said “no, I am it's just, i'm terrified of what would happen to us if the pack finds out" I said visibly shaken, he was silent for a while as if he was was immersed in thought “we could always run away together" he said and I stared at him seriously. “you are serious, you are not joking with me right now" I said getting a little excited, “yeah why not, since going back is going to be dangerous for the both of us why don't we stick together and face them'. He said making me really happy. He opened the other door for me after I got in he closed it gently, he hopped unto the drivers seat, started the engines and drove off. Emits pov “Has anyone seen Skye?" I asked searching for her, but couldn't find her, everyone in the clan were also looking for her, I was in my living room when ro of my pack mates came to meet me “any word on Skye?" I asked “we found this scoundrel roaming outside claiming to know where Skye went" one of them said “speak!" I commanded. “the one you call Skye is heavy with child, and has eloped with the male who sired the child" he said as I got angry “kill him!" I ordered as he was afraid, “wait I may still be of use to you!" He yelled as they were about to bite off his head. An I just gestured for them to hold of a little. “where they ran off too I do not know, but I am the best bet you ever have of finding them" he said still shivering. Three whole years had passed, but the hatred never wayned; Skye's pov I was in the living room with little Luna, teaching her how to read, “so Luna what do you call this, it round and green and starts with the letter A" I said “an apple" “nice one darling" I said complementing her, the door opened and Tristan came in looking tired “how was work honey?" I asked going to hug him “dada" was all Luna said when he saw her and carried her “hey sunshine how are you?" He asked. The evening was calm and peaceful, that was until a shrill sound was heard in the night, a frightening howl, “oh my God they found us!!!"....
