Chapter TwentyLeaving the car parked on the side of the road, Forrest took the lead with Jen and the others following him just far enough behind to keep him in sight.
Getting close to the facility, Forrest stopped to allow the others to catch up to him. “Stay here. I’ll just take a little look up ahead and see if there’s any way we can get inside without being their idea of a main course.” He saw Jen about to protest, “Listen, there’s no need for more than one of us to risk being mistaken for a delivery of snack food.” A grin appeared on his face, “Back in a jiffy.”
