Azrael recovered pretty fast from his injuries thanks to Raphael's intervention, but his pride was seriously damaged. Azrael holds a benevolent role as God's angel of death; he acts as a psychopomp, responsible for transporting the souls of the deceased after their death. He neglected those souls who were destined to go to Hell leaving the unpleasant job to his brother. The brother he always envied and despised at the same time. Lucifer was always free spirited, smiling and Father's little morningstar! The apple of his eyes! Luckily he fall out of favor quickly but even after that, Azrael kept being pushed behind everyone else! He was boiling with rage.
