Once upon a time

- Father founded the system that works since the begging of humanity, the one you already know. Sinners go to Hell, the pure ones to Heaven. I was banned from Heaven because I didn't agree with this system. I am, another spirit son of God, and I rebelled against the plan's reliance on agency and proposed an altered plan that negated agency. I claimed, with agency removed, no one would have the ability to sin against God, that not one soul would be lost, and all would be able to return sinless to the presence of Heavenly Father without the need for a Savior. Well this preposition failed and I along with all my followers were cast out of heaven. The end! - Valerie listened to Lucifer's story and her sense of justice has been deeply damaged. She did not agree with Lucifer's idea entirely , but the idea of banishing someone for life and even sealing them for such a motion did not seem logical. There must be something more to it. She looked at Satan and asked.

- You said God slapped and threatened Gabrielle, yet she just walked away. How could that be possible? I mean, she directly offended and challenged God's authority, that seems more serious than Lucy's preposition! - instead of Satan, Lucifer answered.

- Gabrielle is not entirely an angel. She was born as one, but while she spent her time on Earth, she became sort of a human-angel hybrid. She has something, angels normally don't possess and that's Free will. - Valerie gasped, she grabbed Lucifer's collar and shook him gently.

- That's it! I know why you are sealed here! - she wanted to jump out of Lucifer's lap but he wrapped his arms around her.

- Will you share with us? - Valerie blushed by Lucifer's touch and Satan noticed it, but didn't say a thing.

- He ordered Michael to seal you because you were the first one with Free will Lucy! You didn't bow your head and obeyed but were pride and brave enough to share your ideas! He sealed you because you couldn't be controlled any other way! - Lucifer looked into those shining, gold eyes and what he saw in them made him hope.

- Do you think that's the reason behind all of my suffering? - Valerie nodded and snuggled to Lucifer.

- Once I release you from that seal, you'll be unstoppable Lucy. Just please don't leave me alone when that time comes. Valerie thought and Lucifer just stared ahead of him. He was still processing what he heard from Valerie and he tried to find a reason why her theory couldn't stand. But there was none... He has been out casted and left behind because he wasn't a puppet.

- Now that I think about, everyone who opposes God, gets punished. The only one he cannot punish is Gabrielle.

- But, if the Lord was banned from Heaven, why isn't Gabrielle banned too? - Satan asked and Lucy laughed at the irony of the situation.

-Because that's what she wants the most! He banned me to make me suffer alone, and he is keeping Gabrielle by his side because that's how she suffers. Such a psychopath! - Lucifer said and Valerie started to understand their dynamics more. There was God at the top of everything and his wife. Then Gabrielle, Raphael, Jophiel, Lucifer, Michael and Faith, followed by Zadkiel, Uriel, Aurora, Azrael, Raziel and Ariel. Each one of them with their respective roles, just an inch away. Like chess pieces. Now God had already three pieces less on his board. She just needed to move them to her side and change the colors.

- How could I make more people believe in me? - Valerie asked out loud and Satan answered.

Or when a baby is revived. A demon exorcised. There are so many ways to win human heart, to keep it, that's more complicated. - Valerie listened carefully to Satan and said with a triumphant smile.

- I think I have an idea, but let's make that necklace first! - Lucifer laughed and let her go. Valerie headed with Lucy to the fires of Hell and melted Azrael's silver sword. After that, Lucifer forged a medal with his own hands a form of an eight, but laying on its side. He made also the necklace and, when it was done, Valerie pulled her hair away and he out the necklace in her neck.

- What does this symbol mean?- Valerie asked and Lucifer gave a peck to her cheek.

- That is the symbol of infinity.

- Why did you make this for me? - Valerie asked and Lucifer smiled.
