Chapter 13
Vince comes to lean in the doorway and tell me he has checked Lisa’s unidentified box. The keys he wants are not there. He has tried again to ring the tenants, but they are still not answering and an email has bounced back. This means he will have to attend the hearings for a warrant of possession and the bond for the property. He goes off reluctantly to ring the landlord who is likely to be out of pocket what with the rent owed, the cleaning and the locksmith. I am hoping he has landlord insurance.
I get a text from Amy. Lee can’t come until Wednesday. I’ll stay another night at Brett’s.
