“my apologies my wolf has always been fascinated and drawn to you that's why we were on your territory that day. '' 

    The walk to the Gym is a quiet one. His earlier statement running through my head that he was saying I am so confused this day is making my head spin. “Let me change real fast. I want to be comfortable.” I can't even remember when I changed into my street clothes again today. He turns to watch me and says, “ I’ll open the locker room for you then.” He doesn't seem to want to stop watching me. I quickly changed into my gym clothes again and walked out and saw Xaver had changed into some loose sweats and a grey shirt. He is stretching and flexing his body as I walk over to him “Can I help you stretch anything?” I ask him “No, I'm used to stretching alone but if you need anything let me know.” He says wiggling his eyebrows. I can feel my cheeks heat up and I look away and can't stand his gaze any more. “No thank you, give me Five minuets and I'll be ready to spar.” he nods in agreement as we stretch together “You know I never wanted to kill him right.” Xaver says in almost an unheard whisper. I stand up angry “ Then why do it why not just run away .” he stands to meet me slowly. “Let's start and I’ll answer all your questions. You need to hit something and better me then some kid who crosses you tomorrow.” We start fighting and sighing it makes me feel better already.---- 

        “You have to trust me with what I say ok. I am confused today and did not go as I expected. 2 years ago I was running and I smelt the most amazing smell. I followed it and came upon you in a meadow and that day I knew that I had to get my life together because I found my amte and wanted to provide everything for her.” I stopped dead in my track mate did he say mate? My head starts spinning and the room goes blurry. I hear someone yelling. I think it's Xaver but I can't make out anything he's saying I can't even see the room any longer…….

    I can't feel my body but I can hear something “Iz please wake up I need you to wake up Im sorry about everything I've ever put you thru I swear i'll tell you everything i know and if you leave me then so be it but please come back to me i need you now.” my feelings start to come back to me I know I am in a cold room often my brothers , Damin and the voice from before come to see me I don't know how many days its been “why do you insist on seeing her everyday it's your fault she's here to begin with.” Damin yells at the man holding my hand “I've been over this with you I just know that I can't leave her and that she is my mate.” Xaver it must be Xaver that's been here this whole time. 

    Time passes slowly. I enjoy my visits from Xaver the most. We sit in silence sometimes he'll crawl into my bed and hold me tightly. This last time he walks in and doesn't hold my hand I almost thought I was alone till he said. “I'm going to tell you what happened that day in the meadow my pup my mind to yours so you can see thru my eyes.” 

Two years ago Xaver P.O.V.

    I can see her, my mate, the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. I caught her Orange and honey smell a week ago on a run along the border of the natural zone and have watched her everyday come into the meadow to do various tasks. Today is no different with the exception of bringing my Beta and Gamma to see why I must become a real pack for Luna . She only deserves the best ‘You see she's perfect.’ I mind linking my Beta ‘she is a fine one.’ he smirks. I take a step towards him and growl ‘ how dare he talk about our mate that way.’ Xander growls in my head. I snap a branch causing me to stop dead in my tracks. I lift my head to see if she heard it. She seems to be working still but looking close you can see her spin straighten ready for an attack. ‘That's our girl’ he beams with pride over her. We continue to watch her as we will be leaving soon.

     I see my Gamma starts to stalk forward. I let out a low growl ‘Lets go before the guards come.’ I growl at him and he doesn't respond. He only keeps walking forward towards my mate as if he is in a trance. I look to see her stripping ‘ what is she doing stripping for unknown wolves.’ Xander growls out forgetting the Gammas disrespect I go to follow my mate soon she reaches the water's edge and turns to face me looking me dead in my eyes not flinching ‘she's too young to know you are her mate she must have Alpha blood.’ my Beta says ‘ what a fit body also.’ My Gamma says I let out a Growl warning towards him she doesn't even flinch. 

    I shift as I am walking towards her I am about to explain everything when I hear a growl reverberate thru the meadow and I see a medium white and black spotted wolf jump out of the wood line.  I shift back into my wolf and growl in warning, stalking towards my mate he jumps at me pulling all my attention to him. I can feel him trying to mind like me, something Alphas can do to people on their land. ‘ What are you doing on my land.’ He growls out ‘You mean what am I doing with you daughter.?’ he's furious cutting and snapping his jaws at me trying to rip me apart. ‘ She's my mate’ I move to go around him again only to be pulled back by my scruff on my neck. 

        ‘You can't have her when she's only 14.’ He says , stalking me ‘ My mate, I have the right to see her.’ I growl baring my canines. ‘Over my dead body. I'd rather her die then see her mated with a Rogue like you.’ 

    His threat rang through my body, making me fight harder than ever before. Our claws and teeth clashing against each others skin. ‘We must win or he will kill her or we die trying.’ Xander snarls. I hear my mate let out a whimper of pain causing me to stop dead in my tracks and look to see my Bets had her pinned to the ground with her scruff. The Alpha jumps on my back bringing me back into the fight. I quickly take the Alpha, pinning him down. You can tell he has given up, he wants me to kill him. ‘I am sorry I can't let you hurt her.’ I see anger flash in his eyes as I sink my canines into his throat ending his life.

     I hear a howl of pain and look to see my Beta being kicked off by my mate, his lifeless body falling, his blood drenching my mate. I shift to explain what is going on when my Gamma lunges at her knocking her down she recovers quickly in time for him to take another lunge she only swipes at him ripping his face in half. She shifts, falling to the ground. I rush to go catch her but fail. She stands back up ready to fight me again when all I want to do is hold her and tell her everything is going to be alright. “ I am sorry my pup gave me no choice, he was going to kill you.” I hear howls getting closer and I take it as my time to leave. I can't fight off a whole pack who just lost their Alpha. I hear her yell at me one last word “Coward” I am a coward for running away I am a coward for killing him and I am a coward for not taking you with me. I am sorry I'll make it up to you somehow.
