Chapter 27
After dumping the Honda in the canal, Ryan and Juan had drove back to Wheatland and parked in the alley behind his mother’s detached garage.
Ryan opened the overhead garage door and looked for boxes and containers to place the drugs and cash in.
After rummaging around the garage he found several cardboard boxes and placed the items inside.
After preparing the boxes he removed a ladder hanging on a side wall and used it to lean against the opening ledge of the attic.
Juan started to hand the boxes up to Ryan but paused and removed four rubber band wrapped stacks of cash and a kilo sized bundle of meth.
“Until we figure how we’re going to deal with all this meth and money, we can enjoy some of our spoils,” Juan commented.
