They had barely finished their lunch and second beer when Monty’s phone rang.
“This is Jackie, did you find Tim Bolt?” she asked.
“We not only found him, but we also got a confirmation from him that Ryan Bates had sold a 45 caliber semi auto handgun with a laser sight. Bates also told the buyer the gun was hot in Wheatland,” Monty replied.
“Bolt was present when the gun was sold to an illicit gun dealer named Rufus that does business in Felony Flats.The 45 caliber handgun was parted out and placed in a gun frame without serial numbers. Rufus threw the recognizable parts like the gun frame, barrel and firing pin mechanism into the Spokane river, probably downstream from the Felony Flats location.
