The meeting room was filled within the next hour. Kade stood at the head of the table with Thorne's map spread out in front of him, Marcus was on his right, Elena on his left. I stood across him and around the table were ten other wolves. The squad leaders, veterans, people who'd fought and survived and knew what battle looked like.
Maya slipped in through the door and found a spot near the back, Lila tried to follow but I looked at her and shook my head. She frowned but stayed outside, this wasn't for her, not yet.
