My eyes popped open from the pain in my wrists. The smell of charred flesh hit my nose and there was a soft sizzling sound. My hands are tied together in front of me by what I can only assume must be silver cuffs. I try to focus on something else to take my mind off of the burning in my arms. The room was dimly lit, and my back was leaning against something cold and hard. The air was cold and humid, with a trace of stale earth. I hear the sound of rusty hinges give way as a door swings open and the sudden bright light that fills the room blinds me. I hear two voices; one is amused and the other sounds bored.
