Mira was halfway through her steak by the time I finished mine. Even though the food we got from the kitchen in the Mansion was great, there was just something about a juicy steak from a restaurant that nothing could compare to – especially when it was just the two of us together. My phone buzzed in my pocket. It was the alarm I had set to make sure I could make it back to the village before I had to go on patrol.
