Allison was awake early. After her coffee, she planned to focus on her new project. First things first, though. With the paperwork for the insurance company complete, she mailed the form along with the death certificate.
Next, she checked out the California Board of Nursing website and reviewed the requirements for licensure by endorsement. She noted that the processing time was usually twelve weeks, which would be okay for her. She made a list of what was required before she could file the online application.
She needed to have a passport-size photograph, a verification of her current nursing license from the Florida Board of Nursing, and she’d need to file a fingerprint card after having them taken at a local law enforcement agency. I can contact Detective Derning for that.
