Chapter 27
After Allison awoke, she made coffee and had a yogurt before leaving for the police station. She was eager to hear the details about Derning’s investigation. When she arrived at what had now become a familiar place to her, she entered and found Detective Derning at his desk.
“I got here as soon as I could,” Allison said.
“The time is fine. I’m glad you could make it. We need to stop meeting like this,” Derning said, trying to lighten the situation.
“So you said you found a lot of information on Sean’s phone and computer?”
