THREE: USELESS REINCARNATION.

~ The king's mansion ~

Sol's Pov

I watched my dad as he climbed up the podium and started the toast he raised he's fancy glass of grape wine and said a few words about the party. " I know you think this party was organized mainly for the young teenager's that would be turning ten ( 10 ) today but it was mostly organized for the two supreme Prodigies of Hortensia having there birthday's at the same day of the nobles party. This toast belongs to Sol Daystar and Sylvia Hortensia ". My dad said and had the guests applauding for us in a minute. I guess it does run in the family. I just found myself agreeing with that same statement that the King said. And i should probably go meet Sylvia at her Leisure spot. But all that was what crossed my mind after a guard came ran in and screamed " A horde of Ogres are on there way to this palace right now, We all have to evacuate ". What ' A horde of Ogres Demon's '. I've never seen them before. " Everyone follow the Palace guards they will lead you to a safer place ". Everyone obeyed the king's orders and evacuated exactly like the Guards told them to. Meanwhile father, mother and and Reina we're still not ready to leave themselves behind. " Elizabeth, Reina you both lead yourself to safety, the Palace guards will lead you to an escape root in the Palace ". My father suggested. " I'll go look for Sol and I'll return back with him ". " No way, that's too reckless ". My mother argued with my father. " That's right. We're a family we stick together ". Reina supported my mother. But before they could reach a plan the Ogre Demons were already there and not many people have evacuated yet. I watched in terror as the Demon's broke the castle war and teared every soul to pieces. My heart wouldn't beat properly it beat faster than usual, my blood turned cold i couldn't move as a Demon Ogre spotted me and planned to do to me with me what he did with other people. I could hear Reina telling me to run away. " Sol get out of there ". I heard Reina say with tears rolling out of her eyes and my mother holding her back from going to me. My dad tried using his Sword to distract the Demon but it was of no use. Then in that moment I lost it, Blood lust completely taking over my entire body but what frightened my family most was when a special Crest was visible in my two ( 2 ) eyes. " The secrial Crest ". My father said. " A special Crest only the next Reincarnated Demon King should have ". I wasn't thinking straight blood lust filled my dark crimson eyes and a Special Crest was also visible in my eyes. I turned and looked over at the Demon Ogre. When it looked at me it felt terrified and whispered lowly in his ugly, deep ogre like voice. " Demon King, we've waited Two Thousand ( 2000 ) years for your Reincarnation ". I put my hair down and smiled freakishly at them. " I am not your Demon King, die you bastards ". I said as Blood lust took control of me my heart beating faster and increasing it's pulse by the second. I flew up and used a dark magic spell. " Dread gravity ". i stretched out my hand as the Ogre Demons weren't able to move or lay a finger on anyone they all fell to the floor and weren't moving a muscle and as if they were begging me to kill them, they kept on calling me there demon king. I smirked devilishly, my voice completely turning into a psycho. " Didn't I say that i wasn't your Demon King. Fine, since you've all been bad Ogres I'll give you a punishment i was planning to take you all in and keep you as my pets but change of plans. After all change ... is ... the.. spice .... of life ". I hesitated before finishing my statement, trying to make them get my point but I guess they were all too stupid to comprehend the statement. I reduced my gravity and I fell back to the ground i looked at the Ogres as i snapped my fingers and they all started getting beheaded with no one slaying them. I was taking full control of there body and power. After all of there were beheaded only one remained I was guessing that he was the Horde's leader. " D-Demon king p-p-please have mercy upon your loyal servant I was only trying to help ". The last Demon Ogre shuttered. " Help? ". I asked sarcastically. " Y-Yes to create enough Sorrow and Death to awaken you ". He said, the expression in he's face told that he wasn't lying to me, but he seemed so sure that i would let him live. I smirked devilishly again the blood lust and Secrial Crest not leaving my eye's for a minute. " Well, your Demon King is back ". Blood splashed as he's head was seperated from he's body. Dark Blood filled my body staining my cloth, My Dark long indigo hair, everything was stained with blood. I laughed a Psycho again facing my family as they looked into my dark crimson eyes with fear and worries. " Haha, so this is what power feels like. It's rushing through my body like a water flowing down a stream. Hahaha i feel so Rejuvenated ". I said as i laughed like a Psychopath. " Sol ". Reina's eyes filled with tears. It calmed me down and a bit and the Secrial Crest completely disappearing from my eyes. " huh ". I hummed feeling confused at what just happened. I felt my body grow heavy as i fell down the floor and was left in an unconscious state.

~ Mark's Office ~

I woke up and i found myself in a strange room, that could be found no where in my memory. When I fully opened my eyes I saw my mom, dad and Reina staring at me with Love and worries, i remembered what has happened at that nobles party that night and I thought there eyes would be filled with disgust, but I saw the opposite. I sat down properly and bet my face down wanting to avoid eye contact with them. Silent filled the room but my father broke it. " Sol, do you know the story of the Prodigies And The Demon King? ". " Yes. I've heard the story thousands of times ". I replied but my father insisted that he tell me the story again, so he did I just ignored him wanting to hear what exactly happened to me that night. Silence filled the room once more but this time my mother was the one who broke it by saying something that hurt my feelings even more. " You're the Next Reincarnated Demon King that the story talks about. The official Demon King to rule over the earth. That Seal that was shown in your eyes that night was the Secrial Crest. The Crest only allowed to be beared by the next Reincarnated Demon King. That Crest also represents destruction ". My mom explained. " Was that the reason why I couldn't be myself? ". I asked sadly. " Well, it awakened prematurely by Blood shed so it took over your whole body since you weren't ready to bear such a thing yet ". My father answered. " Oh, I see ". I lent down still avoiding eye contact with them as i burst into tears. " Sol, don't cry ". Reina said holding her tears back. " Sol, it's okay. I know this is hard to bear but as your mother I will always stand by your side in every step of the way ". My mother reassured me and I stopped crying a bit. " Promise you will always protect me ". I reached out my pinkie to make a bet with my mother. She smiled and used her pinkie to grab mine fully accepting the bet. " I swear on my life ". I felt a bit relieved when mom said that. " And Sol one more thing ". My father said. " Huh ". i hummed. " Promise you won't tell anyone especially the Prodigies. Especially your cousin Sylvia ". " Why can't I tell Sylvia? She gets me ". i defended. " Sylvia is the head prodigy if you tell her she might either kill you herself or tell her father everything and her father will have you persecuted ". My mother responded and I felt lonely again. " No way. I thought she was different ". " You never know a person until you witness his/her true self ",. Reina said . " Okay. I promise ". I sahd trying to calm myself down. " Great, then I'll protect you too ". My father said seriously. " I'll protect you too Sol, promise ". I nodded my head still not believing Reina fully. But trusted that they had my back the matter what. A few days later i figured out that I was right about not trusting Reina. She became so overprotective around me and would always ask the most stupid questions about how I got my powers. whereas she was present when dad and mom explained. She would bother me with questions like: Are you okay, Sol? Did it hurt when you first unlocked your Demon powers? What did it feel like to be the Demon King?. She kept on asking me those questions and I held myself not to punch her face. Meanwhile my mother and father where discussion something in dad's office.

~ Marks office ~

" Do you think that Sol can end this war? ". Elizabeth asked. " No doubt he can do it. For the fact that he's Demon powers snapped when he saw those innocent people die, meant that he cares for everyone and won't stand when the innocent or the people he loves is in pain ". Mark explained to Elizabeth. " He's a caring boy, i hope he's feelings won't be played with one day ". Elizabeth prayed. " Oh, it won't. That's why he needs Sylvia to be near him and support him at all times ". Mark explained to Elizabeth.

" Wasn't that the main reason why we stopped him from telling her to find out if she's truly loyal to Sol or just toying with he's feelings ". Elizabeth stated. " Well, we just have to wait and watch and see what happens next ".

I was really bummed out about the whole Demon King thingy, and it had me wondering a second chance in another world with no peace isn't that a USELESS REINCARNATION after all?
