(Lucas’ POV)
This week is nearly over, and I still haven’t laid eyes on my cousin's PA. It’s weird. I swear she’s avoiding doing anything that'll cause her to come in contact with me. But that’s not the only odd thing that’s happened this week. I had another episode with that giggling bandit (don’t ask). I found Sarah crying at her desk, but she wouldn’t tell me why she was so upset, and this morning my cousin came to see me all p*ssed off.
She started grilling me the minute she shut the door to my office. “Did you request Gregor Beck to go to Germany with us in two weeks?” I tilted my head in confusion as I answered, “Yes. To be our translator. I always take Greg. He’s a d*mn good translator. Half his family still lives there, so he’s well versed in their language and culture. Why?”
