(Tracey’s POV)
We’ve been cooped up in this penthouse apartment for three days now due to the storm. The news people are saying this has turned into the storm of the century with typhoon degree winds and torrential rains. There have been mud-slides all over the place and two forest fires broke out from lightning strikes.
On top of that, we experienced our first earthquake this morning. Well, first for me and my family. Poor Rosie is still freaking out a bit. I’m not judging, though. I freaked out too.
Poor Lucas and Emmitt can’t leave us alone because we get all jittery without them. Thankfully, Danny thought it was cool. He actually thought it was fun and wanted it to happen again. All I could think was God forbid, kiddo! But I guess at almost six years old you see things a bit differ
