Ayla’s chest was heaving from her furious, panting breaths. Before she left the mists, the Undine queen had told her she needed to find her mate in order to gain full control of her ever growing powers. Instead she’d come across a pack who didn’t know what she was. A pack who foolishly thought they could take her on and live. She shook her head to clear the rage and then took deep breaths. She opened her still glowing eyes when the pack Alpha apologized for his pack member and she waved it off. Ayden, Suri and the pack watched in awe as Ayla walked over to the tree she had destroyed. She lay her hand on the ruined trunk and closed her eyes. The hand against the trunk glowed and they watched in awe as she healed the damaged tree. Once she was done, Ayla lay her forehead against the tree apologizing. She felt horrible about what she’d done. She turned as Suri approached her. “ Would you like to come inside? Eat and drink with us?” the witch asked her. Ayla looked around at the wolves, watching her. Some were wary, as they should be while others were openly curious. “ I think I would like that, thank you. I have been away from this world a long time. I need to learn about what has happened since the Fae have left. You can tell me.” she said matter of fact as Ayden and Suri led her into the pack house.
For hours, Andre found himself wondering just what Ayden had been talking about. He’d contacted Axel but had yet to hear word from the Elder. “ What do you think would make a tree come to life? Is that even possible?” Indra asked him and Andre shrugged. “ Hell if I know. That’s why I left a message for Axel to call me.” he replied with a huff. As the day went on, Andre got more and more aggravated. He tried to hole himself away doing work in his office but it wasn’t the distraction that it usually was. Suddenly there was a soft knock on his door. “ Come in.” he called. He didn’t look up when the door opened and closed again. He didn’t have to, he knew it was Trish, the pack slut. Andre had f****d her a few times over the months and now she was always hounding him. He knew what she wanted. She was hoping, no, trying to persuade Andre to mark her and make her the Luna of his pack. “ Hello Alpha, I noticed that you were very stressed today and I wanted to come and relieve a little bit of it for you.” she said in a seductive voice. Andre looked up from the paperwork he’d been working on and smiled at her. She was just the distraction he needed. Andre waved Trish over and she went to him eagerly. He pushed his chair out and she sat on his lap, lifting her skirt so she could straddle him. He smirked when he saw that she wasn’t wearing any panties. Seeing her mound made Andre hard and he quickly opened his button and undid his zipper. Trish, pulled his d**k out with eager hands. She stroked him a few times before guiding him to her core and sliding down his length with a moan. Andre groaned as his d**k slid in and out of Trish’s p***y. She wasn’t as tight as she used to be but Andre had been feeling anxious and he needed a good hard f**k to get his head on straight. Andre’s wolf Kai growled and paced inside of him. He didn’t want Trish at all. “ Andre you shouldn’t be doing this. You are going to hurt our mate.” Kai said but Andre ignored him. Trish felt too good, bouncing on his d**k. “ We don’t have a mate Kai. Just enjoy the easy p***y we are getting!” he replied to his wolf and pounded into Trish harder. Andre felt a little uncomfortable pain in his chest but he ignored it too. A few more pumps and Andre was grunting out his release, just as Trish cried out her own. With a satisfied smile, Trish pulled her skirt down and sauntered out of his office. It wasn’t until she was gone did Andre feel the pain and rage flash through him.
Ayla had been sitting on the couch in Ayden’s living room, drinking tea when she felt a small pain in her chest. Thinking nothing of it, she rubbed the spot and took another drink. Suddenly, the small pain grew and spread until it felt as though her heart were ripped to shreds inside of her. Ayla’s power rose up in her defense as she wreathed around on the floor. Suri gasped and ran to her. “ Ayla, are you alright? What’s going on?” She screamed. Ayden paced back and forth as she watched the ancient Fae grabbing at her chest. He knew what was going on. With each second that ticked by, her agonizing screams grew louder and tears flowed from eyes that were glowing. He could feel her power filling the room, wanting to protect her but unable to pinpoint the threat. “ It’s her mate, He’s with someone else.” he told Suri who looked at him confused. “ What do you mean?” she demanded hotly. Ayden sighed as he felt Suri’s power join Ayla’s. “ Her mate is f*****g someone else.” he clarified. It felt like forever before Ayla stopped screaming and the glow faded from her eyes. Replacing it was betrayal.
