Given to my Captor
BLYTHE
I ran as fast as my legs would allow. The silent burn crept through all of my muscles. I could feel the wind cascading over my caramel blonde fur. My wolf was free and she was happy. As my wolf all my scences were heightened. I could hear things that were miles away. I stopped suddenly sliding across the rough rocky terrain. I dug my paws in the dirt feeling the cold moisture between my toes. I listened! I could hear kids laughing in the distance , a baby crying, and someone chopping wood. I breathed in the fresh Colorado country air. I could smell the flowers that littered the forest floor. I could smell the honey from the bee hives, and smoke from the chimneys on the nearby houses. My wolf whined. This was the only sense of freedom we were allowed any more, and I wasn't allowed much of it. The Alpha of my pack Bane Waylon had forced my father to give me to his son Xavier. He wanted to combine the two most powerful families in our pack. Arranged marriage's within packs were u heard of. They went against a wolf's dna. We were born already connected to our mate. Destined to be with one person we would Imprint on. Not me though. My wolf who ordered once more as a single tear fell from my eyes. I was destined to live a life I didn't want, the Luna of a pack, and mate to an Alpha I didn't like let alone love.
I dressed and made my way back to the den. Xavier was expected home soon and I knew better than to not be there when he got home. I had married Xavier on the ever of my 16th birthday. Soon after I moved into his den his father had built for him. Nothing in the house was mine aside from a few pictures and my clothing. We had only been married a month when the beatings started. Little things would set him off like the house not being in perfect order, a single dish in the sink, or clothes in the dryer. I had chores that had to be done daily. I was expected to give into his needs anytime he wanted them. Even if I didn't. Most of the time I would just lay there and shut my eyes, trying to transport myself to another time, another place.
I walked through the door and went straight to the shower. I was getting dressed when I heard the den door close. He was home. I made my way into the living room where Xavier was sitting. I wasn't even attracted to this man. He was huge at least 6'3 250 pounds of nothing but muscle. His tan skin was stretched thin from the mountains of muscles that littered his neck and arms. His bright piercing blue eyes held nothing but evil behind them and his grin scared the crap out of me. I sat on the couch and crossed my legs. "Where have you been?" He growled. "I went for a run." I answered with my eyes on my pale hands. "I have something to tell you." I stuttered. "Well out with it then. " he grumbled. "I am pregnant. " I whispered. I had only found out a few days before, and had went to the pack midwife to be sure. She had let me hear the babies heartbeat and I I instantly fell in love with my child. Finally someone to love who loves me unconditionally. I was so excited and happy. He looked up at me a grinned. "We're having a baby." He laughed. I smiled at him. "It had better be a boy." He muttered and quickly got up from the couch. "And what if it's a girl." I stood up. I was not about to allow him to harm my child like he does. He turned around quickly and grabbed my arm tightly. "Then you will have a damn abortion." He growled. "The hell I will." My wolf was growling and fighting to come out.
I woke up on the floor hours later. I wasn't aware of what had happened I just knew that he had hurt me once again. It wasn't until I managed to stand up that I felt the warm liquid flowing down my legs. My heart dropped. "The Baby!" I cried. I ran to the phone and called the midwife. She rushed over and done an exam on me. The look on her face made my heart ache. "I'm so sorry Chelsea, there is no heartbeat." She whispered to me.
