Alpha and King's Little Hybrid?

Chapter 3

I woke the next morning to the sun beaming into my eyes. I groaned and tried to pull the covers over my head, but I couldn't pick them up. I opened my eyes to see that I was still in my wolf form. Why had I not shifted back yet?

Someone knocked on my door. I yipped and the door was opened. It was Selena. "Hey girl. My dad asked me to stop by and see how you were doing. Being part of the pack now means he can feel if you are scared or confused. Don't worry, you can link me. I'm a werewolf too."

I opened my mind to her. "When will I shift back? How the f**k do I have two mates? How long have you known that I am a hybrid? Why am I mated to your brother? Why am I also mated to the vampire Prince? How the hell did all this even happen!?" I bombarded her with questions.

"Calm down. One, you'll shift back when you run with the pack tonight. Two, that's absurd. No one has two mates. Three, I've known for a long time. Four, the moon Goddess works in strange ways. Five, the Goddess has all the answers you need."

"Run with the pack? What about grad!? I told you I didn't want to miss it! Now I'm stuck as a wolf until tonight!"

"Chill out girl! I don't need a headache right now! I only know of one other way of shifting back before the run, but you won't like it."

I growled at her. "Just tell me Selena!"

"Get your mate to give you his acceptance. You have two mates, according to what you've said, so you'll need to choose one." Selena sat on the edge of my bed.

This was bad. I didn't want to choose. I didn't want to hurt anyone. I huffed and put my head down on my paws. "I guess I'm missing grad than."

"It's alright, Angelina. Dad said he's going to throw a huge party after the run." Selena put her hand on my shoulder. Her hands had always been super warm. Now, I know why. "He said it's a two in one party. Graduation party and a new pack member. Even though you are part vampire, you're still one of us werewolves. You just got the best of both worlds."

I never knew Selena had such a soft side to her. I mean, she's always been this over dramatic wild girl, but right now, she's being very soft.

I sat in the shadows watching the graduation ceremony from afar. Dad had called the school and told them that I was sick today. Selena had decided that if I wasn't able to go, that she would miss it too. She wasn't with me right now and I felt even more alone than I have ever felt.

I huffed and hung my head low. "Don't be sad, Angelina. I am here with you." My wolf said.

"I can't help it. I've worked so hard to be top of the class. I was going to give a small speech and I was going to dance with my friends at the dance after. I want to shift back to my human form." I sighed internally.

"Just get Rowan's acceptance and we will shift back." She sounded happy that we had found him early. Apparently, most wolves don't find their mate until way later in their life.

"Why do we have two mates?" I dodged her interested in Rowan. I had a feeling that he wasn't going to accept me because I am a hybrid.

She hesitated for a moment. "Because we are both vampire and werewolf. If you choose Simon, I will disappear to the back of your mind only to be used as a tool. If you choose Rowan, I will gain the powers of a vampire as well as a Luna."

That didn't help me with anything. "I don't want to hurt either of them. I can't hurt people. It's not in me to do it."

"I know, but you have to. Or-- nevermind."

That caught my attention quickly. "Or what?" I pressed her.

"Or mate with someone who isn't Simon or Rowan. We will remain just as we are now, but the Goddess will not be happy."

I groaned as I heard the principal talk about me. He told the students that I was sick and that I would not be preforming a speech for them, and with that, he dismissed them to go to the dance. I stood and began walking back home. This was going to be a long day.

That night, I stood beside Alpha Titus as he linked the whole pack. I could hear whispers about me. About how I was a filthy hybrid. How my mother was a disgrace to this pack and how my father was a disgusting creature. This made me mad. Say what they wish about me, but don't ever mess with my parents.

The whispers became chatter. I bared my teeth and let out this most vicious growl like roar. My ears were flat, my fur stood on edge. I opened my mind to all of them, the Alpha family as well. "Don't you f*****g dare talk about my parents like that! Say what you wish about me, about how I'm a f*****g freak of nature! But you keep their names out of your god damn mouths or I'll rip you apart limb from limb!" Another powerful growl ripped through my throat. Immediately, they lowered their heads to me. I blinked and looked at Alpha Titus. Even he was struggling to keep standing. What was happening?

I looked at Rowan for answers, but he had his head low to me. "We are powerful, Angelina. We have the power to stop the vampire king if we need to." My wolf said.

I stepped back and it seemed that everyone was released from whatever it was that held them. Rowan looked at me with a new found light. "Let us run!" Alpha Titus's voice cut through my mind. With that, he led the run. I waited until everyone was gone before I started to run. I kept to the back of the pack to not make anyone any more uncomfortable than they already were with me.

"How did you do that?" Rowan's voice came into my mind.

"I don't know. I just.. got so mad that I couldn't hold it back. They were talking about my parents and I didn't like it. I just wanted them to stop. I just snapped and then everyone was lowering themselves to me. Even your dad was struggling to keep standing." I explained.

"I know. The force to submit to you was stronger than my dad's Alpha command. It was like a kings command came from you."

I nipped his shoulder. "Queen's command." I corrected.

His chuckle sent tingles all the way through my body. I mean, he's always had this strange effect on me but now, it's like it's multiplied tenfold.

We ran all night with the pack. We hunted together, and ate together. This feeling I had when I was with Rowan I liked it. When the sun started to rise, I felt the first snap of my bones. I yelped and hit the ground. Rowan was at my side in an instant. The shift didn't take as long as it did yesterday, but this time, I felt everything. I did my best not to cry out.

I guess I had fainted at some point, because the next thing I remember, I was being carried out of the forest by Rowan. He kept whispering that I was going to be okay.

I figured he would just take me back to my dad, but when I woke up again, I was not in my home. Or my room for that matter. I could smell Rowan's scent all over this room. Was this his room? I sat up and looked at my hands. I was clean and wearing one of Rowan's shirts. Oh god. I had no underwear on! Did he bathe me!? Why am I in his room and not in my room at my own home!?

I began to panic and tried to get up out of the bed, only to get tangled in the sheets and hit the floor with a loud thud. I sat up again and touched my nose. "Great.." It was bleeding. I held my hands under my nose so I wouldn't make a mess and headed right for the bathroom. I knew there was a bathroom in each of the rooms here. Simply because Selena had told me once that she had her own bathroom.

The door was open a little and the light was on, but I didn't really notice much. I leaned over the sink as my nose bled. "Did you break your nose?" Rowan said.

I jumped and looked at the bathtub. He was laying in it, looking right at me. "I--"

He laughed and got out of the tub. Quickly, I turned and closed my eyes. "Let me see, you cluts." He turned me to face him and he gently touched my nose.

I hissed in pain and tried to move away. "Ouch!"

"It's broken. I'll take you to dad for him to fix it. He's good with broken noses." Rowan led me to his dad's room. He didn't bother knocking, he just burst through the door and yelled. "Dad! Angelina broke her nose."

Alpha Titus sat up quickly and looked right at me as blood from my nose dripped onto the floor. He sighed and stood up. I gasped and turned around. "Don't you people sleep with pj's on?!"

Alpha laughed. "No. We are wolves. Our bodies naturally run hot. Sleeping nude keeps us cool."

I covered my ears, bloody hands and all in my hair. "No no no! I don't want to hear it!"

Rowan and Alpha Titus laughed for a moment while my nose kept bleeding. I was starting to feel a little dizzy from the blood loss. Little did anyone know, I had to get blood transfusions every week and if I were to get a cut or have a nose bleed, I would need more than usual. "Alright. Let's fix that nose of yours." Alpha turned me around to face him. This caused the world to spin. Everything started going black. I heard Rowan yell my name, then nothing.

I woke again to find I was now in a hospital. I blinked a few times, but it didn't help much. I felt weak and tired. I looked around and found my dad sitting in a chair with a needle in his arm. I furrowed my brow a bit.

"You've been surviving on my blood, Angel. I feed on humans, and have it drawn from my veins and given to you. That's why you barely eat." Dad said. That explains a lot, but why shouldn't I just start feeding on humans? As if reading my thoughts, dad answered. "Because you don't have the power to erase memories like I do. So, I'll just feed you from my body. No one remembers, no one is hurt. I don't kill when I feed. I take what's needed for us both from multiple people."

"How many people does it take to feed us both?" I asked slowly.

"A dozen or so. As you get older, it's more. When you were a baby, I would give you one bag of my blood and you were good for a month. Now, it's once a week. You getting hurt or having your time of the month, means I need to give you blood three to four times a week."

"Why can't I just get normal human blood from the blood bank?"

"Your mother and I tried that when you were a year old. You went into a frenzy and almost killed the doctor. Since then, it's only been my blood."

I kept quiet for a while, but I still wanted to know one more thing. "Dad, what about werewolf blood? What happens if I have that?"

"I don't know, sweetheart. I've never tried it. I didn't want to make you have another frenzy."
