Alpha and King's Little Hybrid?

Chapter 4

It had been a few days since I woke up in the hospital. Rowan didn't visit me but alpha Titus did. He said that Rowan was doing last minute training to be the Alpha. Alpha Titus told me that Rowan admitted that he missed me and that he was having a hard time concentrating on his training. So, as soon as I was released from the hospital, I headed right over to where Rowan was.

I looked at the guard who was standing in front of the training ground gates. "I'm here to see Rowan. He's my mate." I said to the guard.

She burst into laughter. "A filthy hybrid like you is mated to the future Alpha? That's just bullshit! Get lost you f*****g freak!" She shoved me away.

I landed hard on my butt. "Ouch!" I stood up and looked at her again. "Let me through. I want to see my mate." This time, I put more force into my words, trying to call forth what happened the other night before the pack run.

She laughed even harder then pulled out her taser from her belt. "Get lost you f*****g freak! No one wants you in this pack so just die somewhere!"

I have to admit, that stung more than I wanted it to. "Who the f**k do you think you are!?" Rowan yelled behind the guard.

She turned and bent her head in submission. "Future Alpha Rowan."

Rowan waited for her to answer, but when she didn't, he growled. "Who the f**k do you think you are!? You will NEVER lay your hands on my mate and your future Luna ever again!"

She lowered her head even farther. "Forgive me. I didn't know she is your mate."

I could hear the distaste in her voice when calling me his mate. Rowan took my hand and pulled me close to him. "You are suspended from guard duty. You will head out to the border and remain there for three months!"

"Rowan. That's a bit much, don't you think? Why don't you lessen that. I think three weeks is fair enough. Especially because no one outside blood relatives knows we are mates. We've never told anyone." I tried to lessen her punishment.

"No. I told her that there was a hybrid coming to see me. I told her that you are my mate. I heard everything she said to you. That s**t doesn't fly with me." He was stern, but his touch on me was gentle.

The guard sneered at me and walked away not saying anything. After she was out of sight, Rowan led me inside. The training grounds was more like a building with gyms and classrooms for Alphas in training. I looked around. There were so many people here that it made me think I was out of place. I didn't say anything about it, but I did press my body closer to his side.

"I have battle training to go to. I want you to be there." Rowan spoke as he led me to a open gym on the third floor. He sat me on a bench and told me to wait there for him. I nodded and wished him luck.

As his fight went over the ten minute mark, a very beautiful she-wolf walked over and stood beside me. "What's a freak like you doing here?"

I sighed softly. "I am watching my mate train." I spoke soft and quiet so I wouldn't distract Rowan.

"You can't have him. He's mine. He was promised to me when we were young. You are to reject him and leave this pack."

I rolled my eyes. "I will do nothing you have asked of me. You live your life, I will live mine."

She growled. This caused Rowan to take a punch in the stomach. I flinched, almost feeling his pain. "Leave now, you filthy little slut."

She went to punch me, but I caught her hand without even looking away from Rowan. The sound of her hand hitting mine, stopped everyone in their tracks. "One, do not call me a slut. I've never once laid with a man. Two, I will not leave this pack when my mate is standing in that ring right now. Last but not least, you ever try to hit me again, I'll slit your stomach open and drink your blood as you watch!"

I felt my gums throb and something start poking my bottom lip. "Let go of me you f*****g b***h! Goddess it should have been you that died! Not your mother!"

The mention of my mom sent me over the edge. I hissed and lunged for her throat, but was quickly stopped by Rowan. "I know she did you wrong, but killing her won't right it."

A hiss like growl left my lips. "Stay the f**k away from me you b***h!" With that, I turned away and walked out of the gym. I needed to calm down. I headed straight to the ladies room that I had spotted on my way to the gym with Rowan.

Leaning over the sink, I looked in the mirror. My fangs had elongated, my purple eye glowed with a ring of red around it. My nails on my hands had grown to needle like points. This happened once before that I can remember. I almost bit into a boy who was picking on me. Luckily, Selena was able to stop me. This time, I could almost taste her blood.

The bathroom door burst open and some females entered. They looked at me in surprise. "Oh my Goddess! Your eyes are so cool!" The smallest one exclaimed. Her green eyes weren't very bright, but they did shine a little. "How? Please tell me you have contacts in!"

"Uh-- No. I don't wear contacts. I was born with these eyes." I did my best to keep my hands hidden from these girls.

"Sasha, that's a hybrid. Don't talk to them. You know what father says about them." A girl with the same green eyes said.

"Oh shut up Elise. She's not going to hurt us. She must be alpha born to be in this building. Which pack are you taking over?"

"I-- I'm not alpha born. My mother is omega born and my father is the right hand of the vampire kings son. I-- I'm mated to Alpha Rowan of this pack." I explained. Now, I really felt like I didn't belong here.

"V-vampire!" The girls screamed and ran from the bathroom.

I let out a groan and walked back to where I had left Rowan. I pushed the door open to find that stupid b***h hanging all over Rowan. I couldn't hold it back this time. I growled harshly and walked over to her. "Get off me Tiffany." Rowan growled at her.

My fangs elongated again and I hissed at her. Next thing I know, I'm throwing the slut across the room. I felt Rowan try to stop me, but he was of no match for the strength I had at this moment. Once she landed, I charged over to her but half way to her, I smelled something sweet but also tangy at the same time.

I whipped around and looked at Rowan. He had sliced his neck just enough to start bleeding. He watched me struggle to resist, but in the end, the vampire in me won. I bit into his neck the moment our bodies collided.

Rowan wrapped his arms around me, doing his best to stifle a moan. I felt his member harden against me. I softly sucked on his neck to draw more blood.

When I finally let go, I passed out. I opened my eyes again to see Rowan looking at me. His eyes were filled with worry. "What happened?" I groaned and sat up.

"You drank my blood and passed out after. You're in the infirmary right now." Rowan said.

"Did-- did I kill her?" I didn't want to know, but it was best for my mind to know.

Rowan shook his head. "No. I stopped you in time. You only bit me. I was willing, so no, it wasn't forced on me. However, you marked me." There was a slight smile on his lips. Was he proud of this?

"You're not... Disgusted by me?"

"No. Not at all. My wolf once told me that my mate was going to be different. He told me that she was going to need us body and soul. He also told me that she was going to have to choose. That mate is you, Angelina."
