Carson opened and closed his mouth several times as if he wanted to say something but kept changing his mind.
"What if he suddenly decides not to talk again?" he asked finally.
"Then I'll threaten him with you. But I doubt that will happen. Go get Evan, now," Shane ordered in a tone he hadn't had to use on his men in a while.
Carson's frown deepened, darkening his face.
