Ryan’s POV The papers felt heavy in my hands as I stared at them for what had to be the tenth time. Diana and Lucian stood across from my desk, waiting for me to say something. Anything. But the words wouldn't come. "Ryan?" Diana's voice cut through the silence. "Did you read it?" I looked up at her, then back down at the evidence spread across my desk. The journal. The letters. The payments. All of it pointing to one person I never would have suspected. "Sarah," I whispered, and the name tasted like poison in my mouth.
