Chapter 3

The day that the green haired man appeared, the creature explained, was the day that they thought that they had seen things, something that they never would have expected appearing. “Prince Xavier Yanez Zuniga?” the green hair man had asked. Xavier had stopped walking towards the pyramid after bring Montezuma down to his knees with great ease. He had stopped and looked back and saw six figures standing behind them. “You dare speak to the Great Prince of Fakirs?” Nathaniel said, and Xavier raised his hand to stand down. “Who are you?” Xavier asked. The middle man had stepped forward and gave a slight bow. “Do you not remember me dear prince?” the man said. Xavier stood there for a while and started to wonder who the man was. The creature explained that it did not take long for Xavier to realize who the man was. “Norman Hunraken,” Xavier said. “Norman Hunraken?” Walker said interrupting the story, and I stared at him. “Do you know him?” I asked. “He was banished from my home world, by my father.” Walker said. “What was he doing here?” I asked. “He came here for the Dark Prince,” the creature explained. The creature started to explain the following. “We have come here under the guidance of Lord Aries,” the green haired man said. “Aries?” I said. “Aries?!” Walker said. “He doesn’t mean that Aries, does he?” I asked Walker. “The Iron Hand is here to help you,” the creature said that the green haired man had said as he was trying to confirm what we had both thought about. “Great,” I said rubbing my forehead. “So essentially this all seems to go back to the Iron Hand? That pretty much explains everything.” The creature and Walker looked at me as if I was telling them some esoteric mystery. I was a bit surprised, it seemed a bit easy. “The Iron Hand,” I said. “What about them,” Walker asked. “They are behind everything,” I said. “What do you mean?” Walker asked. “You said that the Iron Hand trained your brother,” I said to Walker and then I turned over to the creature. “You said that there used to be something from the Thoth Library until the Iron Hand took it.” “So?” Walker asked. “Show him the map pup,” I said on a hunch. “What?” Walker asked. “The map,” I repeated. “But,” Walker started, and I stared at him. Walker nodded and pulled it out of his pocket and showed it at the creature. “You have a sliver!?” The creature said, thus confirming my theory. “You know what this is?” Walker said. “The whole thing was in the pyramid,” I said. “Whole thing?” Walker asked. “Remember what you said about that pup, you did not know if this was a part of a whole part,” I said. “You said you did not know if Victor or Xavier even had more parts to this thing. You also said that Xavier had disappeared looking for something he had seen on this map. So that tells me that it was part of a bigger map, and that bigger map was here in the pyramid.” “The wolf speaks truth,” the creature said. “The map of Thoth is what we called it. It was made by Thoth himself, just like everything else in the Thoth Library.” “What the hell did Osiris call it?” I asked “You have met Lord Osiris?” the creature asked. “It was like a visage,” I said not really knowing how to explain a projection that was programmed by Hanuman to give us specific answers to things. “I don’t remember,” Walker said. I then started remembering the murals we had seen. We had seen that man who had been wearing the mask. It suddenly dawned on me what we had seen. “We saw Xavier wearing the mask,” I said. “When?” Walker asked. “On those murals when we were with Osiris,” I said. “You mean that black creature thing?” Walker asked. “Think of it pup, what did Montezuma call your brother?” I asked. “He called it the dark prince.” Walker said. “Can you get any darker than that creature we saw in that mural?” I said. “That’s true.” Walker said. “So that means that your brother has an edge on us.” I said. “Three years of advantage on us at that.” “But Osiris said we could change that, that future that Sati saw.” Walker said. “Yes, and it has to do with the Iron Hand.” I said. “I am afraid it is much more than what you are thinking,” the creature said. “You only have part of the story the Bringer of Storms is your major problem ahead.” “The what?” I asked. “You did not let me finish what I was saying earlier.” The creature said. “The six creatures that came with the green haired man, they had powers unlike anything we had ever seen. One had a whip that could made massive gales of wind, there was that froze my men in their place, yet another that seemed to make the earth beneath him move at will.” “It did not take us long to realize that this man, this green haired man was the Bringer of Storms and we knew exactly what he is looking for.” The creature said. So, the creature told us the rest of the legend. The Legend of the Bringer of Storms. The Bringer of Storms would unit beings that were said to be able to move mountains at their will, blow gales of wind, freeze entire continents in a flash. “How do we stop people that can do that?” Walker asked. I was beginning to think of that too. But then I remembered about Hanuman. The powers he had. That ability to make me heavy that ability to make me light at will. Did these creatures have something like that? “There is a way,” the creature said, and he started walking. “Follow me.” Walker and I looked at each other before we started following the creature. I could not help but to feel that this city was made in a similar manner as the Ancient City of Rhodesia. It was incredible that this city looked basically the same as that ancient city. Like Rhodesia it had a pyramid, and it had all these skyscrapers and it had streets and it had all these other things. However, unlike Rhodesia this city had that light that was lighting up this city. “What is that light exactly?” I asked. “It is a fragment of something that my kind call the Redd Dawn.” The creature said. I looked over at Walker who shrugged when I looked at him questioningly. We had walked up the pyramid and into the chamber. “My kind once bared witness to the sun eater war.” The creature said as we entered the chamber of the pyramid. I looked around and had a sensation of déjà vu, it reminded me of the library that Osiris was in and I suddenly had a realization, that library at Rhodesia… “We were in the Library of Thoth?” I realized.
