The Engagement Day

After putting on the matching jewelry, Anna went in with a light jasmine scent. Everything was already organized, so she only had to pick what she felt like wearing. Of course, she had a designer, but she chased her away. She picked black high heels to match her necklace. She checked herself once again and she was impressed by her looks.

She sighed before exiting the room, she was looking forward to meeting that strange man again. Anna smiled and went to find the others who were waiting for her.

"Look she is there, making everyone wait like she's the bride, why am l even going there I am not needed there anyways" Cathy was busy complaining. Anna paused when she saw this, was Cathy not happy that she was going to be engaged to that man why?

"Behave, Cathy, don't ruin this for us you know how important this is to us right now" Paul fixed his tie while checking his wristwatch.

"Oh, you are here, the bride," Peter said, giving Cathy a sneer before carefully holding his sister's hand. "Wow, you look just beautiful sis"

"Thank you, you look handsome too" Anna smiled at him.

Paul also had to admit that his daughter was beautiful "Cough! We have to go" He then walked out.

Vanessa looked at Anna with hateful eyes, she looked exactly like her sluty mother, and that face irked her so much that she wanted to puke. "Let's go dear, let's see how she embarrasses herself." She whispered to her daughter.

Cathy was already not having it, imagining the man of her dream standing with another woman irritated her then what of watching them, she could not allow this.

Anna gave her brother a questioning look, what was wrong with the two crowns? Peter sighed. How was he gonna tell her that the man she seemed to be interested in and soon-to-be fiancé was in love with that baby wanna-be?

Soon they reached another estate but this time around Anna saw a huge mansion ahead with news reporters outside. Peter held her hand thinking that she might be scared but he was wrong. Anna was stronger than anyone could imagine, she didn't even care in a fast place to be nervous. But she smiled at him appreciating his kindness.

Peter came out and helped his sister, and flashes started.

"Mr. Peter, tell us who that girl is is she your new girlfriend "

"Mr. Peter look here"

"Mr Peter..." They were so noisy, that Peter ignored them already used to their rude behaviors.

Anna saw his dark lines and smiled, she walked on the red carpet with one hand holding her long dress while the other held his brother with a small purse, she looked gorgeous. For a moment, the crowd went silent and watched her. Who was this angel?

They soon woke up from their daze and started snapping nonstop.

"Miss, who are you"? One reporter finally asked saving the rest, as they wanted to know her but did not want to miss any chance to snap her.

Anna smiled and said, "You will know by tonight, those who are invited inside will share, I think." She then gestured to her brother to move. Peter was also amazed by her confidence.

He grew up being pestered by paparazzi but he was never this calm in front of reporters.

Cathy and Vanessa were also surprised, the b***h knows how to act, and soon reporters noticed them and swarmed in, comparing to how they reacted to Anna's arrival, they were like friends talking to Cathy.

As she was charting, she didn't forget to give Anna a provoking look ' See, this is a difference between you and me

Anna just gave her a small smile and entered unhurried She simply didn't care.

"There you are my good grandson" came a voice. An old lady came in, although she was old, her skin was glowing, and she looked energetic.

Peter went forward with excitement, " Pretty girl." He hugged her.

"You with your sweet mouth" She also hugged him "How have you been?" She asked.

Peter was startled and said hurriedly "Grandma, are you doing it on purpose? See guess who this is"

Miss Linda then noticed that his grandson was standing with a girl, she was pretty, but that's all, wait, she looked like that woman.

Anna who was being watched like a monkey, felt that the old lady was not impressed by her she sighed, apart from her brother no one seemed to like her in this big world.

Peter saw this and frowned "Grandma, she is my lost sister, are you not happy to see her? He asked, confused. He knew that all of them were here today because of her; there was no way she did not notice.

Ms. Linda was embarrassed for a moment, but also angry; she didn't have any hope for her granddaughter. She preferred Cathy to Anna, who looked cold.

Anna stepped up and greeted, "Hello, grandmother, nice to meet you," She said politely.

Ms Linda coughed dryly and replied "Well nice to meet you too, I heard a lot from your mother but let me not see your bad behaviors today, you know how important this is to our family"

Anna dropped her head, She was being lectured just as she entered.

Peter was so mad that he was going to argue but Anna stopped him. Soon, two pairs walked in, and a figure hugged Ms Linda tightly.

"Grandma, I missed you. Wait, I will die of jealousy. How come every time you look younger and younger, share your secrets?"Cathy went all out with her ass licking.

Ms. Linda was impressed with this granddaughter she laughed "Well I missed you too how have you been?"

Peter was fuming so he just took his sister away without saying anything to his grandmother, and it didn't sit well with her.

"Look at that, my prince has never given me that attitude, but because of that bumpkin girl, he did," She breathed heavily. Vanessa gave her daughter a look and they soon started adding fuel to the fire.

Anna who was far felt bad at first but soon went back to normal. It wasn't long before the party began, as the main character was already there. Many big people were invited.

Old Reyes was not so old that he looked around fifty; he wasn't surrounded by lots of people, as he gave the majestic aura that nobody dared come close to him.

He was chatting with two other old men when they introduced the main character for tonight, everyone stopped what they were doing and looked on stage.

Anna walked on stage and again made the crowd go quiet, she was indeed beautiful, and her walking was like that of a queen she gave a cold vibe that suited her eyes. Once she reached the mic, she introduced herself and that's when the crowd started gossiping.

In a group of youth who were standing with Cathy, one girl commented, " Hey, is she the real Heirness of Reyes? She looks beautiful, " But another gave her a look.

"Even if she is, I heard she is a bumpkin who grew up in a poor family, she can't match Cathy" The majority agreed with her.

Cathy was also panicking but calmed when she heard that, she was pleased to know that Anna was not welcomed in the high-class society.

Anna, who didn't know what Cathy was thinking about after introducing herself, her father also joined and performed his part as a good father. Anna almost rolled her eyes but stopped herself.

Off the stage, an old man who was chatting with old Reyes came to her. He looked at her with moist eyes.
