The real purpose

Matilda watched her young miss drop her head and she felt sorry for her. " Madam died two years after you went missing," she said briefly.

Anna lifted her head and looked at her. She gave a nod before looking outside the window; her eyes were empty as if nothing could amuse her. As they were nearing the airport she again asked. "I don't think it is a coincidence, what is my real purpose of returning?"

Matilda stiffened but soon organized her emotions; it seems that Miss is not as innocent as she displayed at first. " I am not in a position to tell you that miss"

Anna smirked " It seems that I was right" she sighed " But could you at least tell me a little bit about my family " she asked

"Well, you have a stepmother and a step-sister plus an older brother "

"You have both grandparents, but on your maternal side, you only have a grandfather." Matilda sighed and looked outside. " We're almost there, you will find out other things when we reach."

The door was open, and as Anna stepped out, her heart went cold. So no one wanted her without a purpose not even her own family? She scoffed and walked forward. She will just sit and watch what awaits her.

After checking out and waiting for 10 minutes, it was their board time. Anna was surprised to see that it was the first class; she had never dreamt of even seeing the inside of it. Matilda saw her expression and smiled, after all, she was still a kid.

After looking here and there, Anna got bored and fell asleep. Matilda saw her sleeping soundly and ordered the attendant not to wake her up at lunch.

City A

Anna looked around when she exited the airport; everything looked expensive, as expected of a rich city. She followed Matilda to the black van which was awaiting them.

On the way to her family, she suddenly felt uncomfortable, her heart was speeding up for no reason. She was even sweating but pinched her hand not to show it.

Not long after, they reached an estate, inside the black iron gate, a villa came into view. It was a three-story house with modern decoration.

The place was covered with beautifully carved pavers. A maid came to greet them, but mostly she greeted Matilda and scanned Anna with disgust.

This wasn't noticed by Matilda, she pinched the maid and cleared her throat. " Younger miss welcome home"

Anna looked at her and the maid, although she didn't expect much, she did expect at least to see her father when she reached the place, but it looked like she was not needed there.

She nodded her head and signaled Matilda to direct her inside. When the maid saw this, she scoffed. 'She already thinks that she is the young miss of this house pwee.'

Inside was as beautiful as the outside, but none got Anna's attention; she was already in a bad mood. It seemed like no one was at home to welcome her.

Matilda felt bad but was not in a position to talk here, " Miss let me show you your bedroom to freshen up and I'll prepare you something to eat"

Anna followed her to the first floor where her room was located. Inside the room, there was nothing much, but compared to her former room, this was a playground. It had a queen-sized bed, a reading desk plus a fitted wardrobe. In the corner, there was a bathroom.

"Thank you," Matilda nodded and went out, leaving Anna alone. She sat on the bed and zoned out. This was supposed to be her home, but she felt empty; she didn't even have a memory of this place.

She went to the wardrobe where she found new expensive clothes, she grabbed a plain white dress, and headed to the bathroom. It had all the necessary things so she hit the shower.

After spending 10 minutes in there, Anna came out feeling refreshed as she was applying a moisturizer she remembered that she had a brother, so she quickly went out to find Matilda.

"Oh, miss, dinner is ready." Matilda placed a plate on the dining table. " Oh my, you look just like your mother," She said, blinking away the tears.

"..." Anna was lost for words. "Thank you? I wanted to ask Where is my brother?"

Matilda sniffed and wiped her tears before saying "He's at school but will come back in the evening "

Anna sat down and started eating her food quietly. Since she was a good cook, she tended to judge, and it was no different. She rated the cook at 2 out of 10

The macron was overcooked, and everything was spiced, a rich people thing.

Matilda saw this and asked, "Do you want anything in particular you would like me to cook for you?"

"No thanks," Anna declined and stood up; she didn't have an appetite to begin with. She went back to the room.

In the evening she heard people talking as she was on the first floor. She sat up in bed and went outside, where she found people sitting in the sitting room.

A beautiful lady around thirty years old was talking to a girl who looked to be the same age. On the side sat a man in his forties wearing spectacles, and he looked handsome. Anna looked around and saw a boy 20 years old sitting with a big headset on his head, he was pressing his phone.

She watched him and she already knew that he was her brother. Something pulled her to him and he also seemed to feel her eyes as he looked up and met her eyes. He paused and stood up from the couch startling others.

"Oh, here you are, welcome home, sis." A girl her age brought a flower and gave it to Anna, who looked at her with a stony face. She can already smell a b***h in here.

She took it but again turned and looked at her brother, "Thank you but I did not prepare anything to give in return"

Cathy checked out the girl who looked very beautiful, her big green eyes made her jealous compared to her small ones

Cathy blinked her eyes innocently and shook her head. " It's okay, I didn't expect anything from you- I mean, don't get me wrong, I...."

"I didn't get you wrong." Before she completed her bullshit acting, Anna cut her off.

Vanessa saw this and chimed in, "Anna, right? I am your mother, welcome home, darlin,g," She introduced herself and leaned for a h, ug, but Anna stepped back.

"But I was informed that my mom is already dead," Anna said, and heard her brother chuckle.

"Enough, just arrived but already started giving me a headache. " A strong voice sounded, which made everyone flinch, but Anna did not. She saw her brother shaking and that didn't make her happy at all.

She crossed her hands and stepped near her father. " Calm down, Father. I don't want you to get a heart attack, right, brother?" She went by and sat down. " So tell me, dear father, why am I here in the first place?"

Anna grabbed an apple and started munching ignoring the weird gaze they cast her. Cathy smiled and started acting again. " Sis, you just arrived how can you talk to Father like that? After all, you have just united so..." Anna dropped the Apple and stood up.

"I asked Dad by chance are you a transgender?"Anna mocked her

A laugh was heard, and Peter went forward and stood close to his sister. " Sister, don't insult transgender people." He picked up an apple and started to eat, copying his sister. She looked cool eating a while ago.

Anna saw this and smiled, " You are right, that will be an insult, so father..." Before she finished her father fumed

" Great, so great you have shown us your bad behaviors, but don't worry, I will show you your purpose of bringing you here", Paul said in an angry voice.

Anna snorted" And who are you to point at my bad manners? And who gave you the right to order me or even raise your voice at me?" She shouted no longer holding her anger.

" I am your father" Paul shouted

Peter stood up, ready to protect his sister, when he saw his Dad going forward.
