I wake up in the morning with Summer draped over me, head on my chest, her arm across my waist and her leg across mine. I’m not sure what time it is, but I can see the sun peeking through the curtains. Summer stirs a little, and as she moves her leg, I take a breath. Her thigh is pressing on my morning wood. Trying to take my mind off it, I think about all the things I need to do today: catch up with clients, look over some plans, see what pack issues are waiting for my attention, and figure out how I am going to tell Summer about Leo. Giving Summer a kiss on the forehead I tell her I will be back for dinner and get the elevator down to my office.

Sat at my desk I check my emails, I see one confirming Alpha Douglas will be arriving Monday and plans to stay until Wednesday, another is from Leanne to arrange a conference with a new client, then I seen one from someone requesting to visit the pack, a guy called Ralphie Curegarter and his sons Ralphie J Curegarter and Laina Curegarter are looking to switch packs and want to know if they can come come to look around, I email back asking for more information, how old are they?, are they mated?, what are their pack roles?, what qualifications do they have?, which pack are they from?, and why do they want to leave?. Next I look at the email from Leanne and arrange the video conference for next Friday, adding this to my calendar, I then text Kyle and Louis letting them know I am in my office and ask them to go to the Apple Store, giving them detailed instructions on what I want and to bring them straight to me as soon as they are back. Next I move on to the pile of contracts waiting for me to read and sign. Just as I finish them my stomach starts to rumble, lunch time I think to myself, already missing Summer I decide to go up and join her for lunch but just as I start to stand up the elevator pings and the girls come out giggling about something “we are taking Summer for a girls picnic” Sofia says “oh, ok, where are you going?” I ask “just to riverside park, we figured it’s a nice day for it and it will do Summer good to get some fresh air and vitamin D” says Leah “Do you have everything you need?” “Yep, we already raided your kitchen” answers Sofia “well in that case” I say giving my luna a kiss on the forehead “have fun girls, call me if you need anything or have any problems” I tell them, “we will” they say as they leave giggling again.
