Chapter 11

While mum is helping Summer I clear away the things from dinner, load and start the dishwasher and wipe down the sides then go to check my emails on the pc, just then Kyle calls, “hey Kyle, what’s up?” “I have just had a message from alpha Douglas asking if he can visit next week with his Beta and Gamma, it sounds like he has some information for us about the Terrerage family and as asked if he can meet with Summer while he is here” “oh, finally, it took him long enough to get back to us, ok, make the arrangements with him and have rooms prepared for them but don’t mention anything to Summer yet” “sure thing alpha I will get right on it” is there anything else, Kyle?” Yes, Leo has said they have finished and will be back on Friday” “how did the trip go?” “He said it was a success and will give you a full update when they get back” “ok, thanks Kyle, keep me posted on the arrangements with Douglas, bye”.

Shit, Friday, that means I only have 2 days to tell Summer, I was hoping for more time with her first.

As I’m sat with my head in my hands wondering how and when I’m going to tell her, mum brings Summer in and as soon as I see her a big smile instantly takes over my face. She looks cosy and at home in her new white dressing gown and matching fluffy slippers, “is everything ok?” She asks me “yes sweetheart everything is fine, just some work stuff” “right I’m going to head home now I will see you both tomorrow, Leah and Sofia said they will be round in the morning to help you get dressed” “ok, thank you Grace” “yes, thanks mum, see you tomorrow”. Once it was just the 2 of us again I asked “How about we cuddle up on the sofa and watch the second movie” “sounds good” she says with a smile “come on then” I say as I wheel her over to the sofa. Once we are both comfortable lay on the sofa cuddled up I start the movie, it’s a bit mushy for me I usually go more for action and horror but if my Lunas happy I’m happy plus any excuse to have Summer in my arms.

Once the movie had finished I ask “did you enjoy the movie?” “Yes, I did thank you, it was funny and I knew she would end up falling for him, thank you for today it’s been really nice” she says “you’re welcome baby I’m glad you enjoyed today” I am reluctant to move enjoying this time too much but then summer starts to yawn, “sounds like somebody’s ready for bed” “ummm, yeah I think I am” she says “come on then I will help you” I lift Summer up and sit her in her chair “do you need a drink or anything first?” I’m ok thank you but maybe if I could have some water by the bed for later”, “of course baby, let’s get you into bed then I will fetch some for you”.

I take Summer to her room, help her take her robe off and she is wearing light blue satin sleep shorts and vest top with lace trim, looking her over I can see the swell of her breasts and the little bumps of her n*****s through her top, she looks so sexy I find it hard to resist her, I lift her into bed enjoying the feel of her barely dressed body in my arms for a moment, once she is comfortable I fetch the glass of water and sit it on the bedside table “goodnight baby, sweet dreams” I say then place a kiss on her forehead “shout me if you need anything at all” I say as I start to pull away, my eyes dropping to her lips briefly wishing I could give her a proper goodnight kiss. “I will thank you, goodnight Theo” I leave the room before I do something I know she isn’t ready for and close the door then return to my pc.

After a couple of hours of getting some work done I change into my sleep shorts and head to bed myself but struggle to sleep, after about an hour of tossing and turning I hear a noise coming from Summers room, sitting up I listen for a minute not sure if I imagined it then Summer starts screaming.

I immediately jump out of bed and run into her room, Summer is lay in bed the duvet all askew, her head shaking frantically and her arms out in front of her like she is trying to hold someone away or protect herself from someone and she is screaming and crying, saying no, stop, it hurts. Realising she is having a bad dream I rush over to her, sit on the bed and place my hands on her arms and carefully lower them as I calmly talk to her trying to ease her out of the nightmare “it’s ok Summer, I’m here baby, you’re safe now” as she slowly starts to calm, I lean towards her a little more and move one hand to gently stroke her hair “come back to me baby, I promise you’re safe come back to me” she eventually opens her eyes seemingly a little dazed and confused at first, then as realisation dawns and she starts to remember her dream she bursts into tears. I move to lay beside her and pulled her into my arms, “shhh, it’s alright baby, I’m here, I’ve got you” I say soothingly as I gently stroke her hair with one hand and her back with the finger tips of the other, trying hard not too cry with her, it breaks my heart to see her like this.

After a while as she starts to calm down, she tilts her head a little and looks up at me “hi” I say as I start to wipe the tears from her cheeks “h-hi” she responds still sobbing a little “do you remember what the dream was about?” “F-father” “that man’s gonna have a lot to answer for when I get my hands on him” I say as I lovingly look in her eyes wishing I could take her pain away, “what can I do sweetheart?, what do you need?” She looks down and bites her lip a little, “talk to me please baby, I just want to help” I say, gently, “ummm, just hold me please” she whispers so softly I almost didn’t hear her, “what was that baby” I ask wanting to be sure I heard her right “stay and hold me please, i-if you don’t mind” “of course I don’t mind sweetheart I like holding you” I respond then climb under the duvet and laying on my back I pull her closer so that she is tucked into my side with her head on my chest, her arm across my waist and my arms wrapped around her then I place a kiss on the top her head. After a while her breathing evens out and she falls asleep, I lay here just holding her and listening to her breathing until I fall asleep myself.
