The alphas damaged mate

Chapter 8

The next stop on the tour is through the double doors into a large bright room that is decorated similar to the others, there is a window on the right overlooking the drive and a large window on the wall opposite us with double doors going out onto a patio and overlooking a field, in the middle of the room there is a large marble desk and chair with a computer on the desk, to the left there is a wall with two doors and an elevator the wall going along side us has filling cabinets along it there is also a seating area to the left of the desk, “this is my private office” Theo says as we turn left and start towards the doors, “the first door is a private bathroom and the second is a sitting room that I use when I need quiet time” he continues then stops by the lift and presses the call button, the doors open immediately and we go inside. The walls are completely mirrored and there is a gold coloured bar running along all 3 sides as we turn to face the doors I notice there are only two buttons, Theo presses the top button, the doors close and I feel the elevator move, it’s only a few moments when the elevator stops and the doors open again, then Theo wheels me out and says “this is the Alpha suite, it’s a 3 bedroom apartment, we have our own living room, dining room, kitchen and bathrooms, the lift we just used is a private lift that only goes between my office and here, nobody else uses that lift. On the left is the main door to the suite which is locked and only a few people have keys to it.” He then opens the door to the right of us “ this is our living room” he says as we go inside, there is an L shaped sofa with a coffee table on the left in front of a wall mounted tv on the far side of the room there is a large window and door that looks like it leads to a balcony, there is also a corner desk in the far right corner with a pc and a couple of book shelves along the right wall, we go back out to the hall and Theo says “ the next door on this side is the kitchen/diner and the first door on the other side is a guest bathroom, next to that is a guest bedroom and the door opposite us is the master bedroom” he wheels me down the hall and opens the door to the master bedroom and tells me it has a on suite bathroom and dressing room, I look around the room in shock, there is a four poster bed that looks big enough for a whole family to use, its made of a dark wood and has red curtains with gold detailing and bedding to match, on the right there are two doors and on the left a black leather sofa with red and gold cushions and a rug to match, I have never seen a sofa in a bedroom before. As I am looking round Theo comes round from behind me and says “so my Luna, what do you think of our home?” Celestia starts purring at this obviously approving but hearing him call me luna and call this our home catches me off guard and I don’t know what to say, looking up at him I notice how he is looking at me with a big smile on his face and a sparkle in his eyes waiting for my answer, I look around the room and then at the massive bed and feeling anxious say “it’s really big, uummm and nice b-but w-where will I be sleeping?” I ask and nervously look at him, his look softens and he says “come on I will show you” and takes me back out to the hall, he opens the door to the other room that is opposite the guest room and says “this will be your room” as he wheels me inside.

This room like the others is spacious with wooden flooring and white walls there is a window on the back wall with red curtains that have gold detailing and tie backs. There is a big divan bed on the left wall with bedding that matches the curtains and a headboard that is red velvet with gold studs, on either side of the bed there is a white bed side table with a gold lamp on each and at the foot of the bed there’s a rectangular ottoman that matches the headboard. On the wall opposite the bed there is a tv and in front of this a seating area with a sofa and two arm chairs in red velvet, a gold frame coffee table with a glass top and a floor standing lamp beside the sofa. There are two doors on this wall one either side of the tv “where do those doors go” I ask Theo, he comes round and stands in front of me as he says “the first one is your dressing room and that one over there is your bathroom” my mouth drops open in shock “I have my own bathroom and dressing room?” I ask in disbelief “yes, of course you do, you are my Luna” he says “and as my Luna you will live like a queen” I look down at the floor and nervously ask “why do you keep calling me that?” “Calling you what?, Luna?” “Yes, why do you call me that?” “Because that’s what you are, my mate and Luna” he says sounding confused “don’t you feel the mate bond between us?” He asks “I’m not sure, Celestia says you are our mate but I don’t know what it’s meant to feel like or what a mate is other than what Celestia has told me” I still don’t look at him worried about how he is going to react.

He kneels down in front of me, takes my hands in his and says “please look at me Summer” I slowly look at him and as our eyes meet I see a mix of emotions but none of them seem to be anger or disappointment then he says “you never have to fear me Summer, I could never hurt you and their is nothing you could do or say that would ever change that, ok?” “O-ok” I say.

“Now, why don’t we go to the living room, I will get us a drink and snack then we can talk and I will tell you anything you want to know about the mate bond, being luna, about me and anything else you want to know, how does that sound?” “Yes, okay, I would like that thank you” “come on then” he says as he stands up then wheels me out of the bedroom and to the living room. Theo helps me get comfortable on the sofa then goes to the kitchen, while I am waiting I look around the room and see their are some paintings on the walls including one that looks like a coat of arms and a few of wolfs, I make a mental note to myself to get a better look at these when I can get around by myself again. Theo comes back in carrying a tray and places it on the coffee table. There is a jug of juice, 2 glasses, a plate of sandwiches, some little bowls with nibbles in like nuts, olives and cubes of cheese and a dip with carrot and celery sticks. “I thought you said a snack?” I say “this is a snack” he laughs as he pours the juice and hands me a glass, “now, what would you like to know first?”
